...where would you go?

Toy Story Land will be open so HS is a must and of course MK...but I'm having a hard time choosing between AK and EPCOT!

I love Epcot and probably prefer it as a park to Animal Kingdom, but if push came to shove and I could only pick one, I think I'd have to go with AK. Everest is my favourite ride in the whole of WDW.

two of my favorite rides are in AK so it would make more sense to go there...good point!

Have you been to Pandora? Definitely AK if not. Flight of Passage is incredible.

That's easy...it just depends on how long my trip is, which park I was at the day before, which resort I am staying at, what time of year, what the expected crowds will be, what night time show is being offered, what time the show is, do I have a rental or am I taking Disney bus, who is with me on my vacation, what restaurant I want to eat at, which attractions I prefer to ride, how late the park is open, is it an EMH morning or evening, will I be coming back any time soon, am I also going to USF or another park, are my shoes new, do I have to carry a bag into the park, what is the weather going to be like, how am I feeling, do I have any current ailments, do I want to shop, and are there any special events going on...
OR, just flip a coin and go with it.

Exactly!!

This is sort of what we will be facing for our November trip. We will be buying 2 one day tickets and we will spend those two days at MK and AK. I am also doing the Wine & Dine Half Marathon which gets me a free after party ticket for Epcot one evening and my wife and I will use that party as our short 3rd day.

We will be skipping DHS as I have now the past few trips.

On the last several 3 day trips that our family has done, we have done a split day between either AK/EP or HS/EP. It used to always be AK/EP, but with the addition of Pandora and the number of things closed at HS, we found splitting HS/EP worked better for us. Of course, as others have pointed out, so much depends on what you/yours likes.

We spent a full day at AK and I barely feel like I scratched the surface of all there is to discover there. Epcot I felt like I was able to see most of in a half day. A lot of "skippable" things at Epcot, in my humble opinion. The only things I could really skip at AK were the two carnival rides in Dinoland USA, whereas at Epcot, I could skip Figment, Nemo, Impressions de France, and the circle vision shows and not feel too much like I missed out on anything. And just walking around at AK is more immersive and there's more to see even while you're not doing anything. World Showcase has a lot to look at, but I can go through the shops pretty quickly whereas at AK you really have to slow down or you'll miss a sleeping animal or something like that.

All that said, there are too many factors to really tell you what to do. I would look at the attraction lists and see what you would be more upset to miss.

We would skip Epcot. Or maybe hop to it from HS if the crowds are unbearable. Sometimes you just have to make a hard choice. So while we do enjoy every park. Epcot is the one that gets cut.

This is a tough one! Our 2 favorite rides in all of WDW (EE and FOP) are at AK....so it would be tough to skip. However, EP is our favorite park to spend an afternoon just walking through WS and enjoying the atmosphere, food, and entertainment. I don't think I could skip either! Is park hopping not an option?

Although I prefer Epcot, I've been enjoying AK more than I did before recently. I still recommend Epcot though

Not sure with Toy Story opening. We did 3 days in September and skipping DHS was a no-brainer. A lot does depend on when you are going and what is going on. If Food and Wine time at EPCOT, I'd be there in a heartbeat. Honestly, even with TS opening, I'd still probably spring for park hoppers and do TSL in the morning and EPCOT in the afternoon. So much of DHS is still torn up even with TSL opening.
