I'm sure you can't book this far in advance but I can't find where you can book when the time comes?

I'm booked into the Hard Rock Hotel on the 16th of October so we'll be in Universal and IOA on the 16th and 17th and want lunch on one of these days for the Three Broomsticks.

Don't think you can book at all, its not a full service restaurant as far as I know. I have only looked in the entrance at the food display but it looked as though it was type of place you get a tray and pick up food in a line. I saw the display and prices and came out, didn't like the look of anything & too expensive for me:rotfl2:

People have booked before and it recommends you make a reservation on the universal website but there's no option to do so, maybe it's phone only?

I'm not going for the food as much as the place, we're mad Harry Potter fans so just being in the Three Broomsticks will be amazing for us :D

Hi, we were there last year. Go into the "bar" area and get butter beers (or real beer), then go out the back to picnic type tables. Enjoy the super views of Hogwarts - you don't have to eat there if you don't want to. The tables inside are held for those who are sitting down for a meal.
Have fun,
Splodge

I would be surprised if you could book a reservation here, it's counter service.

They do a good job with it though. You can't send someone ahead to hold a seat (tried it, they stop you). But after you go through the line, a worker will find a table for you. Maybe that's what people are thinking of because I don't see how you can make a reservation when there is no one to wait on you.

It was very good too. :)

Thats what we do, nip into the Hogs Head for a Butterbeer.
Not sure about reservations then, I was sure it was counter service.:confused3

Yes its just a counter service place but they do it well, no saving seats allowed.

Maybe the reservations are for breakfast?

Ahh could be for breakfast yeah. So we can just go in for lunch with no need to book, makes things easier :D

Reservations are for breakfast only. No reservations for lunch/dinner. It does get very busy but it is well managed, with staff on hand to send you to the next available till.

As far as getting seats, although you can't save seats indoors, there is a lovely seating area out the back (which we actually prefer) and we have had no problem saving a table there.

We ate there for breakfast last August, no reservation. Continental brekkie was lovely! We felt it was good value, but only bought 3 between 4 of us.

We loved - The Great Feast - $49.99 - great value (by park standards) for 4 people.

Massive bowl of Salad
Roast Potatoes with garlic & rosemary
Lovely green brocolli with carrots & Peppers (all the veg was fresh and not overcooked)
Half a Chicken x 4
Ribs x 4
and a whole Corn x 4

We ate at 4pm ish so as with most these places much quieter - sat down with our drinks and Salad and they bought the massive platter over. We will be eating here again.
