Thoughts/Suggestions on Lego Land with cast??

My son (7) hurt his foot at school yesterday and the doctor called today letting us know he has an avulsion fracture and will get a cast or boot put on Friday morning. We have our trip booked starting 3/16/18 for 3 nights at the Lego Land hotel with 2 park days. This was a black Friday promotion and it states no changes or cancellations. Has anyone been recently with someone in a lower leg/foot cast and how did it affect your trip? I'm so worried and frustrated with the timing on this.
