Thoughts on this deal?

175 points, BLT March use year. All 2010 points, 8 2009 points - buyer pays closing...$92 per point.

Anyone have any insight as to if it will pass ROFR?

We have a contract on this resale but DH is thinking we should have purchased more points.

That price per point seems awfully low. I think most are going for $97-98 per point for a loaded BLT contract. I think your chance of passing ROFL would be pretty low - that, or BLT prices are dropping fast. (I just paid $100 per point for a loaded BLT contract in June).

I believe there was a BLT contract that passed very recently at $92.50. I'd stay with it and see what happens -- you've got a nice savings if it passes.

Worst case scenario, you start over, and that's not the end of the world.

It appears the only contracts the DVC is buying back are the Beach Club points so I think you have a good chance of passing ROFR.

Initially we were planning on a 200 BLT point and 25 AKL point contract. This came along and we put an offer in on it (honestly not thinking it would be accepted). And thinking that we would do 175/50. Now he's not so sure and thinking we should have waited for 200 BLT.

Well, once you are a member, you can add on directly through Disney with small contracts. While the price might be a bit more for those points, you can get to your 200 points.
