Looking to celebrate a 23 year anniversary sense at my 20 year I had colon cancer. Now cancer & treatment free, we want to do this. Just us, small ceremony, my daughters. Has anyone done this? Thanks!!

Congratulations on your clean bill of health! :goodvibes

We did the Memories Collection package offered at Aulani and thought it was a really good fit for our vow renewal. There have been several threads on this board by folks who did Walt Disney World's Memories Collection. Here are some search results to get you started while we wait for them to come along and share their experiences:

You can see photos of the three Memories Collection ceremony venues at WDW here: http://disneytravelbabble.com/disney-weddings/memories-collection/

Hope this helps!

Brilliant news that you have the all-clear! Big hugs!

We have booked the memories package for September. 6 of us including our 2-year old. Its $500 deposit, the rest can be paid 30 days before wedding.

With that package you get your bouquet, a 3-hr limo or a room celebration (they decorate your room with rose petals and other treats), personalised website, photography for 1 hour, violinist.

You have to book your officiant yourself (we have booked Rev Kevin Knox)

And after we are all going for dinner somewhere (havent decided yet), maybe downtown Disney, or Ohanas or Grand Floridian.

And we might finish the night with a rented boat which is about $300, snacks and drinks included.

I think the Memories package is great in terms of cost and whats included. We only had 6 guests and weren't bothered about a cake because we will be having a big party back home in the UK with a cake so the Memories package was perfect.

Congratulations on being Cancer free!

We are doing the Memories Package in August. For us, it is perfect. DH and I wanted to renew our vows, just us and our 2 children. I wanted Disney, but didn't need too many extra frills.

We are having our ceremony at Luau Beach at the Polynesian, which is also where we will be staying. The ceremony is at 11. We have reservations for tea at the Grand Floridian at 2 and then will head off to the Magic Kingdom to have dinner at Be Our Guest that evening.

The previous poster did a great job of what the package included. Just know that your choices are somewhat limited. For example, you are presented with about 5 choices for a bouquet and must pick from those 5.

The only extras I am adding are that I am using a silk bouquet instead of the Disney provided florals, and I am going to order a wedding cake to be delivered while we are at tea.

I like the idea of this and then perhaps dinner at Citricos or somewhere. I'm confused about something, though, so for those of you who've done it...since the cake is included, when do they do the cake? After you finish the ceremony?

The cake is not included. I am ordering one as a separate thing from the wedding (if I recall correctly you are not able to have any food or drink with the Memories Package) and having it when we have our Afternoon Tea.
