Thoughts on the CS dining plan

We are planning a trip to Disney in June (my first ever) and I'm browsing the dining plans, and I think that the $30/day (2 CS and 2 snacks per day) seems to be the most economical one for us. I honestly don't see us eating a heavy TS meal each day, and don't want to pay in advance for something that we aren't going to use--I'd rather pay for the 1 or 2 that we might use out of pocket once we get there. Anyone used this dining plan?? Would you use it again, or upgrade? Please help =)

We're trying it next month. We loved the reg dining plan in 07 (incl apps and Tip!) but this trip was planned so last min that I would have had slim pickins for TS. I think if you don't want to be tied down to TS, its worth it. Last visit in 08 we paid for all meals oop and when we did cs it cost us about $100 per day for a family of 4 (kids 4 and 6) We love having most of the food cost paid for before we get there

We have done the regular dinning plan when it was offered free, we are going on the 4/3 trip this yr and were not going to order any dining plans. But when we did the math the food cost would be about the same so we just order cs dining just for the convience of it. No one in the family thinks the cs meals are that great, they are so/so (when you eat them all week). You just have to try a variety of things, because even my daughter got burned out on burgers and chicken nuggets.
Good Luck
