Thoughts on night before cruise??

we are taking our first cruise next December. Coming in on a Saturday and planning to hang out at our resort, poly. On Sunday our day is open. Boarding ship on Monday. Coming back to poly on Friday and hopefully doing Christmas party if offered. We have done numerous trips to the parks before.

Looking for suggestions for our free day on Sunday. I was considering pirates and pals fireworks or hoop de doo review? We have not done either of these. Any thoughts??

Hoop De Doo is great fun!

You could just go to Disney Springs, shop, have dinner and see the drone show if they are doing one.

We stayed at the Poly one night after our cruise and enjoyed dinner at Ohana and then a Wishes fireworks cruise around the Seven Seas Lagoon. It was a wonderful night!

Not sure how the timing will go but when we went to Hoop De Doo we got out just in time for the water pageant and Wishes. We watched them all from the Fort Wilderness beach then got a boat over to MK to get back to our resort. It was an awesome way to begin our trip. We loved Hoop De Doo!!

What you do is totally up to you.

But make sure that you are as close to 100% packed and ready for the next day as you possibly can be. If it's a DCL cruise and you're being picked up in the morning and having them take your bags, have those bags READY and by the door. Your night clothes can be shoved into them or into your carryons, and no matter how you're getting to whatever type of cruise, make sure you have clothes for embarkation day, along with shoes, sunscreen, hats if you're wearing them, swimsuits, night clothes for that night and whatever you might need for that night's dinner in your carryons in case your bags aren't in your room by dinnertime. Also have any medications, sunglasses, nice jewelry, and official ID that you'll need for the cruise in those carryons.

Just be as ready as possible so that you can enjoy that evening.
