Thoughts on HI Eastgate?

Hello All,

We got such a nice rate on Holiday Inn East Gate -- $62.50/night.
How is it?
How is the on site food? Is it pricey? (Kids eat free and we're cheap )

We stayed there a couple of years ago. It's pretty standard, but clean and quiet. I'm not sure I would have wanted to pay $60+ for it though. We paid $30 something and for that I was really happy. We had 2 rooms. One had a newer rug, the other a very old rug and kind of a musty smell. But like I said, because of the $$, we really couldn't complain. We did eat breakfast in the restaurant each am and enjoyed it. We always had to remind them though, that the kids were free. They kept trying to charge us for some reason. Check entertainmentbook.com and see if they are still offering a discount for this hotel. That's what we used to get our rate.
