Thoughts on Cap'n Jacks

Please tell me your thoughts on Cap'n Jacks.

Hmm...well I ate their with my two roomates during Spring Break of last year. We didn't have that long of a wait, which was nice, but that was about the only good thing. Since we were still in college we were very much on a budget. I would have loved to have gotten lobster tail, but that would have been my only meal for the week. Our waitress probably took about 15 minutes to come to the table and get our drink orders. We continued to feel ignored through out the rest of the meal. We all ordered salads and the crab cake appetizer. They were good, but not great. Maybe I'm spoiled living on the coast of NC?? Anyways, my experience wasn't that great, but I would be interested in hearing what others have to say. The view is great!

Food tepid, with horribly mushy overcooked pasta and seafood that was not fresh. Service slow and desultory.

Nope, can't recommend it.

We like it. Not a favorite. But quite often we go there first as a DTD choice.
Always have had good food and service.
For lunch they have changed their crab cake sandwich within this past year. DH liked it better the previous way. But still was good.
We ate lunch there just under a month ago.
