My parents have never been to DW. I wanted to take them on their 1st trip, but they decided to go for 4 days on their own. They were taking a 3 week trip throughout the south, visiting everywhere from Atlanta, New Orleans, Orlando, The Keys and Tampa and a bunch of other places.
Anyway, they had left home on Saturday and got word yesterday that mom's sister had an anurism (sp?). She had anywhere from hours to days to live. (She is rather elderly and had other health problems as well, but nothing like this.) Mom and Dad decided to go on w/ the trip until she did pass w/out having a more specific time frame. Well, they had checked into the Wilderness Lodge this morning and headed over to the MK. When they were on the Ferry, they got the call that she had passed. She called me and said they were going to try to get something for my kids and then head back home. They are going to talk to the Cast Members at WL and see if they can change the dates until next week or something like that. They had just checked in and headed straight to the parks, the luggage was still in the car.
I feel so bad for them. Of course, w/ my Aunt's passing and all and of course, you can't exactly time these things, but I had wanted them to have such a good time at DW. I am hoping they will be able to go back again. I would appreciate any prayers and pixie dust for them. They will have a long 12 hour drive home ahead of them.
