Thoughts about DL after a first trip

I have been to WDW 10+ times in my 50 years and have always loved it. For the first time we took a trip to Disneyland and got back yesterday.

WE LOVED IT!!!

A few observations:
1) Counter service food is better and more varied in DL
2) Lines are narrower and a few old favorite rides are very different - Peter Pan for one
3) MR. TOAD!!!!!
4) People seemed less stressed and less "aggressive" overall.
5) The Weather was beautiful even when hot it wasn't that Florida wall of humidity.
6) Easier trip to plan and manage overall.

We did use MAXPASS and found it very helpful, and I hope they expand it to other attractions. The Disneyland App over all is good but slow.

Cars Land was great! It was like walking into the movie set. I really loved the Radiator Springs Racers! I regret not getting the macaroni and cheese cup thing for a snack! The Indy Ride was scary and fun and very exciting! I know this might be sacrilegious but I wasn't thrilled with the Nightmare Before Xmas Haunted Mansion overlay...

Totally agree. We went to Disneyland for the first time back in June and we absolutely fell in love with it. My daughter wanted to go for her 16th birthday so we did a quick weekend trip a few weeks ago. Her 2 favorite rides, Indiana Jones and Carsland.

I regret not getting the macaroni and cheese cup thing for a snack!

In my experience, the only regret stronger than not getting the mac and cheese cone is the regret you feel halfway through eating one. There should be a viral challenge where people post videos of themselves trying to eat a whole one without sweating...
