How about we start a thread about DME and their routes. I for one would like to know what routes there are and what resorts are in that loop and how many.

I'll start: only used on return trip. The bus driver told me his stops were Dolphin, Swan ,YC and BW ( we got on at BW) on May 6

Anyone else knows what there loop was?

From what I've been reading , none of these routes are really set yet.

I got on at BW and the bus stopped at the Carribean Beach resort.
I have no idea where it stopped before the BW.

Inbound the bus stopped at the Carribean Beach before going to Boardwalk.
I am pretty certain it was also supposed to stop at the Beach and Yacht club after boardwalk.

I didn't think that the Swan and Dolphin were included.

i just got back from staying at WL and on the trip from the airport, WL was the first stop so i am not sure where it went after that.

on the return this morning, i believe it stopped at contemporary, then WL, Poly, and then the GF. but all in all it worked really smoothly and were at the airport about 2 hours before our flight

Isn't it just grouped by zone? So if you're staying at an EPCOT resort, your bus will be stopping at all of them at some point?

I traveled May 8 - 14. Before I left I read links and Tyler's posts which said therre were set zones. However, since returning I've read different routes than what was previously published AND different routes from what I personally experienced. Perhaps they're adjusting to need all the time rather than having rigidly set routes in order to make it more efficient???

From MCO, my bus stopped at Caribbean Beach Resort first (my resort), and then went onto All Star Sports and Animal Kingdom Lodge, although I don't know in which order. For my return, an empty DME bus pulled up at CBR and we made NO stops on our way to MCO.

During moderate travel times back to the airport, set routes would be needed to properly assign people to buses, although last minute custom routes would still come in handy if a mixup occurred and a bus got full leaving some people behind.

(During peak times buses would fill up visiting one or two resorts)

I'm curious as to the routes as well... I haven't read anyone who used ME for CSR, and though our tags are for the Green Zone, I'm wondering how set that is (especially as it seems that CBR keeps getting bumped to the Green Zone).

We used ME on 5/14 and stopped at Pop Century, Boardwalk & Yacht before getting to Beach Club. I really think the route is determined by the number of people arriving at that time. We arrived in Orlando around 8:30 am so, there weren't very many people. We didn't leave for the resorts until the bus was full though.

Going home on 5/22 we were picked up at Beach Club and there were already a bunch of people on the bus. Then, we went to Swan & Dolphin afterwards and then onto the airport!

The routes that the tagged luggage may take are probably totally different from the routes that the passenger busses take, so even though your luggage may have a green tag and pass by Animal Kingdom Lodge, you probably won't.
