Im purchasing a timeshare rental for next year that i have to pay for now. Last year we attended the Halloween Party and loved it so i was thinking about trying the Christmas Party. Are the parties the same time every year. Would I be okay if i booked nov. 27-dec. 4? How crowded is it down there the week after thanksgiving? Thanks for any info!

We have gone the week after Thanksgiving for the past three years. We love this time for a number of reasons. First, the crowds are low making touring easier. Also, we are not beach/pool type people so the cooler weather is more appealing. The decorations are amazing and we love MVMCP and all the other holiday festivities. We have always done the party on a week night and avoid the weekend dates figuring the crowds are lower. It is also budget season making it easier on the pocketbook.

I would say go for it!

I think you would be fine booking at that time period. Keep in mind that the first MVMCP is usually around the 30th, so there would be about the first 3 dates you would be there for. We usually go the some time period as your thinking of, the week after Thanksgiving. We love this time of year: low crowds and the christmas decor is amazing.
We always come home in the Christmas spirit.

That is one of our favorite weeks to go and MVMCP is our favorite extra event to attend!!! Snow on Main Street, cookies and hot chocolate, special parade and NO LINES during the week!!! I hear weekends can get crowded because of local visitors. We can't go until January now because son's college break starts too close to Christmas for our taste. Go, and tell me all about it!!!!!

We have gone for MVMCP for the last 4 years and loved everyone. This past year we went over Thanksgiving to include Thanksgiving day, where before we usually we done the day after.

We had Thanksgiving dinner at the Garden Grill at Epcot and really enjoyed the meal. First time we had done a character meal at all.

This will probably be the first year we aren't doing MVMCP, but the first year to do MNSSHP. I have always wanted to do that since my b-day is Halloween and so this year we are finally doing it.

I think you will enjoy the time after Thanksgiving. Check out taking a "Sleigh" Ride from Wilderness Lodge. We did that last year and it was nice.

Since 1992 and dates they have MVMCP have been about the same over the years. So if you come down in the time frame you mentioned you should have no problem getting to go to a MVMCP. This is a great time to visit WDW with all the decorations and special Christmas shows and light crowds. We have been visiting WDW first part of December since 1992 and it is our most favorite time of year to visit WDW.::yes:: :wave2:
