Ok, OMG. I won a pin through a random drawing (which I AM grateful for...) but when it arrived to me and I opened the package, I just kinda... looked at the pin in amazement. I still can't post pictures here... so go here to see it- http://anniessimplelife.blogspot.com/2009/05/my-new-dehydrator.html

I opened the package and was like "what the heck?!" :rotfl2: :confused3

I have other pins, and none of them are so 'debby downer'!!! GOSH! :rotfl:

EDIT: THE PICTURE IS IN POST #6.

Does anyone else have a pin this... weird? And it IS an official pin- it's from 2005 (so it says on the back). Yeah, I'll be trading this one. :rolleyes1

Debbie Downer is a good way to describe it alright

I think I had one of those a year or so back and traded it...not a keeper IMHO! Cool food dehydrator, though...

I'm going to try this picture--- hope this works!!

Okay, maybe I'm weird, but I think that's hilarious! There is no way I would ever trade that pin. I've never seen anything like it.

That happend to DS when he was ... about 4 or 5. I posted about this a while back - he had his pins on a fanny pack ... he took off the pack to play by the jumping fountains in Epcot by the Imagination pavilion ... and someone walked off with it.

It turned into a wonderful thing - he mentioned it to a CM at the WL... the next thing we know he received about 20 pins from various CMs.

It taught him two great lessons... you can't just leave your stuff unguarded because there are some not-so-nice people out there - AND- there are some really great people out there too!

I'm amazed that they ever made that design.
Have you done any research on how rare it is?
I would keep it, just for the novelty factor!

"This global lanyard series 3 pin is the 2nd in the pin trading comic strip. This pin has us looking in on a dejected Minnie sitting on a yellow box (with a hidden silver Mickey) as she confesses to an astonished Mickey and says "I've lost our pins and lanyards!" in a white bubble over their heads. This is a square pin with a dark blue background framed in black. Both Mickey and Minnie are dressed in their classic attire (Minnie with her matching ensemble of a pink polka-dot dress, matching shoes and hat with a large yellow daisy and Mickey with his trademark red shorts and yellow shoes)."

HAHA yeah I know. Another poster posted this:

It's one in a series of 4 comic-book style panels & they tell a story in sequence. Take a look at PinPics.com, the other pins are: (PinPics #) 39070, 39072, 39073.

The one panel by itself might seem odd, but, true-to-form, Mickey is the hero in the end ::yes:: .

agnes!

That's the one! It's weird without the others in the set I guess!!! :rotfl:

ITA! With the number of times that happens on this board alone, I think it's brilliant that they developed this pin! The number of times it happens daily must be significant if Disney built an entire pin around it. My hope is that every time Disney replaces or sends home someone's lost pin lanyard, they include one of these pins. Love it!

Haha thanks- I made dehydrated apples and bananas... but I'm not sure the bananas are done yet.

Yeah, I'm thinking no on the keeping thing too. It just makes me sad!!!

So, could this be considered a "teaser" pin that they sent you in order to drive you bonkers looking for the other three? Pure Disney evil.....boooooah-hahaha....:scared1:
