Our trip is nearing and I am getting so excited!! I am getting into super planning mode and I was wondering for those of you going in December, what types of things are you making/designing/taking along? I would love to hear your ideas - i really want to make this trip extra special for my kids (and my parents are coming too for the first time)

So far: i have autograph book, journal book, pressed penny holders

thanks so much!!
i can't wait to get some new ideas??

p.s. saw on natalies 4shared she has some santa pages, what do you do with those?

Shannon

This is what I'm doing. T-shirts (of course), Epcot passport from Donatalie, activity book from jtandolly. I am doing something a little different this year. Last time I made them a gift box from Tinkerbell. My DH always gets frustrated that we never get any credit for anything (Santa, Easter bunny, etc.) So what I've decided to do is I am using the santa cards to write messages on them with a small gift attached each morning for the 12 days before we leave. We are leaving on the 17th. For example, "On the 12th day before Disney mama and daddy gave to me.... a santa hat with ears like mickey. And for each countdown day they will have a different card with a new gift to have or wear at WDW. I'm doing those, pressed penny books, pressed penny holder full of quarters and pennies, T-shirt, Autograph book, Epcot passport, trading pin, activity book, bag, treat bags (cards that you put candy in like sucker card, candy pocket, reeses holder. I think bababear makes them. Not for sure. That's all I can remember right now.

Thanks for the great ideas. I love the ideas for the cards - they are so cute, i just wasn't sure how to use them. I ordered disney pins to give as a countdown. Our last trip in March i made them a box too (it was from us) and on the top i made a countdown out of cut out mickey heads and then each day was a pin inside, so i too needed something different!!
it will be here before we know it!!!

Help: I am unfamiliar with the stores, are there any girl specialty stores I can give a coupon to my daughter for?

HOPE THIS IS HELPFUL TO YOU ALL, ENJOY!

Shoot, there are so many stores, just give her money in an "My Spending Money" envelope and she will truly find something:) I am using those for our little off the boat gifts once we are on our way to the CBR:)

:santa:I making my Christmas tees from all those great Dis-gners!! And I've already made my Christmas window clings!! I will be buying my Mickey head lights down there!! I am bringing a large plastic sheet of a Christmas tree that I will pick up at our local Party Store once the Halloween stuff is down.:santa:

I can't wait to hear and see what all you make for your granddaughter.

We are going in Dec also (12/4-12/9). I can't wait. We are going with another couple and their little girl turned 4 this summer. She's the apple of her Mommies' eye and they are so excited to be sharing Disney with her (So are we). Kim's mom & dad are also coming. Auntie Em (You know, I just got a great idea for Kim's Mom, we call her Aunite Em and there is a great clip art of Mickey & gang down the road from the castle that has the Wizard of Oz Look. I will make her a shirt that says we aren't in PA anymore Auntie Em.) Kim's parents took her to Disney at least once a year growing up so she is a veteran, though this is the first time she will see it through her daughter's eyes. Karen is not a Disney geek, but is thrilled her daughter is so excited about meeting the princesses. :goodvibes
We are going to breakfast at Norway so I am making Miranda a small autograph book, just for the princesses. She will wear her Ariel costume that she got for Halloween, to the breakfast.

I am also making her a set of the Christmas cards that Natalie did

We had fun with them last year. :thumbsup2

We are going from 12/23-12/27

I am decorating some tote bags to use as Christmas Stockings unless I decide to make some for us.

We are doing T-shirts and possibly sweatshirts

Autograph books one for charachter meals and a regular one
Pick a Pearl GC
Christmas Passport
Thinking of a magnet for our Room door
Thinking of a christmas banner

Where did you purchase your tote bags, i have been looking to do some for our trip but have been unlucky.

I made invitations for all the character meals we have ADRs for and for the MVMCP... also the usual autograph books, passport, t-shirts, pressed penny containers, etc.

Oh! I also made tote bags for DD and DS. I bought the tote bags from Hobby Lobby and ironed on Disney designs. We have a 12 hour drive to Disney so I bought lots of Disney stuff at the dollar store, printed Disney themed coloring pages, etc. Every hour on the drive I will give them something new to play with and they will have their tote bags to keep everything in! This will also give the kids stuff to do when we have quiet time in our room.

- MVMCP Personalized Tickets

Who made this or how did you make it.
