Those of you DVC members who trade(d) into Disney Collection

Any of you guys ever trade into the Disney collection for non DVC rooms at Disney? We just did for a club level room at the Gran Destino Tower and enjoyed it. May do others but it is a point eater. Though we live local and are empty nest so it's a neat way to use our points right now while we have some extra. Anyone else have any experiences to share?
