Those in PA...anyone ever been/heard of DelGrosso’s Amusement Park??

I've been there a lot. I'm only about 45 minutes or so from Delgrosso (I also live/die for their pizza and spaghetti sauces!!). It definitely is a small park and geared more towards younger kids, but there are a couple of bigger rides for older kids - but not much. It makes for a really nice and relaxing day. They also offer coupons on their sauces, which are out now (have been collecting them. lol). You can get a pass to just go in, to ride the rides or to ride the rides and the water park. It's a very nice park.

For those in PA that aren't sure where it's at, it's just outside of Altoona, PA in Cambria County. I'm in Indiana County, but lived in Cambria county for several years. :-)

They also do spaghetti days there, classic car shows, and a few music concerts. It's nice.

Wondering if this park is gravel or pavement?? We went to Knoebels over the weekend and I forgot how dirty (dusty) our feet and strollers get walking around on the gravel. Plus I need to know which stroller to take! ;)

TIA!

you might also want to stop by Lakemont Park. I'm not in PA anymore. :sad1: so you might want more recent info/comments, but they have a rollercoaster that is supposed to be "the world's oldest roller coaster, Leap-the-Dips." If you are interested in old wooden roller coasters, it is a worthwhile stop. Don't expect any loop-de-loops, though!

I did check to make sure Lakemont is still there, and apparently it is!
