I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed all three of this week's shows. The topics were interesting and different from the norm. They all had a lot of laughs and great information.

Good job, crew! :thumbsup2

I am going to have to agree with you @*NikkiBell*. I too fought that there very entertaing and educational about the ABD Trip and other subjects.

I just loved listening to Pete & Walter's Southwest Splendors ABD Trip Report! It really made me want to take it again!

My DH is not a Disney person, but settles for Disney for 3 or 4 years and then a Sedona trip. Next year will be our third. We stay at a small place (old fashioned motel type) called Sky Ranch Lodge. We get a Rim View which has the best sunrises and sunsets. It is very close to one of the vortexes. One afternoon we were coming down the mountain road (wide enough for two cars) and Jim stops the car, jumps out and comes back and tells me to get out so I can see this giant (about 12 feet tall I think :scared1:) tarantula. He took some pictures and off we went. He was thrilled.:confused3 I on the other hand was less than thrilled.
Urban legend says that.....
On a jeep tour of Sedona’s red rocks during the weekend, the tour guide told our group that Walt Disney owned a house in the area in the 1940s and 50s. From his place on Disney Lane, he supposedly first viewed the rock formation Capitol Butte, which helped inspire him to build Disneyland’s Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Capitol Butte now is better known as Thunder Mountain in this area.

However, I believe this is just an urban legend as I believe Walt died before Big Thunder Mountain opened.

Anyway, I have convinced myself it is true so when we are in Sedona, I feel I have a bit of Disney with me. & we did bring home a beautiful kachina doll and some lovely beads for my friend who makes jewelry. Also, some lovely silver earrings for me. :thumbsup2 So this podcast has me totally excited about another Sedona trip. Can't wait.

Thanks for the wonderful podcasts. :flower3: Penny

I really enjoyed all three podcasts as well. The Disney Cruise Line show was exactly what I needed right now even though I'm not going on PC 2.0.

One question for the podcast team... will 3 shows a week become a habit after the first of the year? That would be awesome!! :dance3:

Were all three shows up on iTunes? I was only able to get one. The cruise primer. :confused3

Where do I find the ABD Trip Report show?
If you hit "Listen Now" at the top of this page, it's the first one that comes up, dated 11/18/10. It *was* on iTunes, but I can't check that from here...

They were last time I checked. As I said above, I can't check from here, but they were all there last week.

Thanks Sayhello. I didn't know about the "listen now" button on the page and even though I subscribe to the show, iTunes didn't add two of them. But, I've got em now and it's good timing since we're hopping in the car for what will hopefully only be a four hour drive. We're leaving Long Island for Pennsylvania, so it could be just fine or a nightmare... we'll see...

I enjoyed all three shows too.

I really found the cruise one interesting even though I am not going on the cruise. It was interesting to see what I would expect to happen if I were going on the cruise with you guys.

Have a Happy Thanks giving all!!!!!

I'm trying to find the primer in the archives, but I don't think it's there yet. Can I find it anywhere else?
