Right now I have Epcot planned for a morning EMH too. I just think that day works better for us, but I will have to think it over some more too.

Major change! I always here myself say the word "major" like Posh Spice: Mayjah...HAHA

Okay, anyways

Major plan change!! Well, major to me..it involved switching park days, which in turn involves changed ADR's..so that's pretty major to me

I was lurking on the Theme Park board and saw a thread about Mardi Gras and posted that I was going to be at MK that day and it wasn't a recommended MK day by TP's. That was about a week ago..since then a couple of people posted responses that they either were going to be there or had been there on Mardi Gras in the past. They are all worried it will be busy..and so I thought what about going to Epcot? Checked for the same ADR and it was available, and checked for the same ADR at MK for the next day..not the same time, but definitely good. I haven't canceled our old ADR's just yet..wanna check with Ferb to make sure he is cool with this change in plans. My only concern with going to Epcot this day is that it's an AM EMH. I know well enough to avoid those because we don't have hopper passes. But I'm thinking that the size of Epcot might be able to absorb the crowds better than MK and if we take advantage of that EMH we can get the biggies all done in the first hour and then grab FP's for our second ride later. Like I said, I am waiting for final approval from Ferb, but he usually just defers to me We like to keep them thinking that they have all the power, but we know who really does...Right, Ferb? HAHAHAHA!!!

Thanks, we are pretty proud of our selves for finishing them!! We aren't very good at finishing projects and we are definitely not a crafty bunch!!

Can't wait to watch it all unfold. BTW, you and Ferb are too cute with your interactions. My dh rolls his eyes at me (but is a Disney nut). PLEASE do a TR afterward!!! I feel very close to your family after sitting here for the past hour. I would be so sad if I couldn't see the plans unfold!

When you guys get to POR they will have started the rehab of the rooms..not sure if they will have gotten to AB where you will be staying with the trundle bed..but check out the resorts boards for info and updates when they start in April!

I'm glad that people are enjoying Ferb and I..we do, but we're biased Ferb insists on us doing a TR so I am sure that we will be on the computer the day after we get home posting!!

Our DME package arrived yesterday!!!!

Somehow it seems more real when Disney spends money to send you stuff via UPS!! HAHA!! It was pretty cool seeing POR on the tags too...little things make me happy

Hey everyone
I am so ready to talk Disney!!! I am in a funk and I need to get out of it!!
I hope I am not offending anyone when I tell you that my "friend" is here right now..she came to visit last night and I am feeling pretty yucky The only good thing about it is with the timing...I should be just about done with my next "visit" when we leave for Disney. And that's a VERY good thing.
I went out with some friends last night to a Pub and played Music Trivia..usually lots of fun, but between being tired from work, lack of sunshine, getting my "friend" and I think I am getting a cold..it probably wasn't a good idea to go out and have a couple beers. I am feeling very sluggish today.

So onto some happy Disney talk to drag my a** out of this funk!!!!

Good news so far, like I posted before, our DME tags came by UPS!! I went to Walmart and picked up some cute tops for myself..everyone else has new shirts already, I was the last one on the list.. Aren't we always!!
They had some nice cardigans there, I might go pick one up. I have 4 pairs of capris and a nice hoodie cardigan so I think with the T's and one more plain cardigan I think I am pretty good for the unpredictable weather of March. I will of course bring some shorts and bathing suits for the warmer afternoons..but I have a feeling we might be in pants a lot at night. It's all good, no matter what it will be warmer than it has been this past week here!! When you step outside and your nose hairs freeze you know it's chilly!

I was just wandering around the PTR board and was re reading some of my posts to check on the info posted so far..and I was reading my post about trying to get into the Rose & Crown for a later dinner to snag Illuminations seating if possible..but at the very least to be able to head out to their terrace to watch from that vantage point. It reminded me that I hadn't checked Disney's Dining Reservation site in a few days to try. I logged in and typed all the info in expecting to get the same response I always do and try again another time.....BUT !!! Nope, snagged a 7:50 PM ADR!!!!
WOO HOO!!! I think this will work out PERFECT!!
So some good news and I feel better already..but I think I need a nap..

On our next trip, which will likely be just us, I'll have to research some more extra stuff and where to book what, etc. These boards are teaching me a lot! So Rose and Crown has a good view of illuminations, correct? What if you aren't by the window?

As I understand it, it doesn't matter where you are, because they let you get up from your table to go out and view it. Don't get me wrong, it would be wonderful to get a table with viewing..especially with kids, but I'm happy just to be in the building at the right time!!
