This PTR needs a name!!! Hope to see you real soon!! Well, not too soon!

I am shamelessly bumping myself to the top of the list:flower3:

No news, just work and work and work...but it's going to help pay for this trip, so I guess it counts towards the ptr!! ;) I'm starting to love my ticker..look how far Tink has come!!

Yeah, and I testing my new countdown ticker Lol!:crazy2:

Haven't finihed reading your PTR, but I will in bit. We are heading to POFQ in December. Kids know about the trip, but not where we are staying. Can't wait to read more!

45 DAYS!!!! Usually this is the time that we are excited because we have the trip paid off in full, just in time for the 45 day mark, but we have a room only reservation this time and we will be paying the balance on check-in. But that doesn't mean I can't do the 45 day dance :cool1::cool1::banana::banana:

We have the count down calendar we made in our kitchen so we can remember to remove the mickey heads..you know cuz we might forget
Anyways, we had removed one too many heads after DD's were away at my parents and I knew we needed to play catch up this weekend..well silly me misread the countdown I have on my computer and we removed one too many heads again :confused3 Well, we just replaced one to correct my mistake..I cannot tell you how yucky it felt to actually put one back!!! :sad2: ;) :lmao:

So we are back on track with our countdown, I apparently need to go back to school to learn how to count:rolleyes: but all is well. Nothing new to report here..well that's not completely true..I was on Facebook the other day and the Disney Memories website came up on the ads along the edge of the page. I clicked on it and read some of the memories that people posted. A couple of them had me in tears..you understand:grouphug: But then I posted a couple myself...it was easy and fun!!!
That's all for now...I need to come up with something fun to post on here just to help pass the time..hmmmm...let me think on it and I'll get back to you!

One thing that's a bummer about suprising the kids is no countdown calendar. I told hubby that I should make one and hang it up at my desk at work. :lmao: That would get me some interesting looks. It's just somethign about those mickey heads though. We have about 24 days left, I say about because we still haven't decided when to leave yet.

To answer your question for the passports they were kind of a pain in the butt. Anyway I found the art on the disboards, I searched epcot passport and found someone with all the pages, I printed then glued them all together. I made the mistake of not following her instructions and made it harder on me. I just used regular paper and ink, and they are small, only 10 pages or something like that so it doesn't use tons of ink.

You SHOULD do a countdown at work..at least you would have something fun to look at all day!! :thumbsup2

Thanks for getting back to me about the Passports...I'm assuming you found the pages on the disigns board? I'll check it out, at least it won't use all our ink, right? Patience, maybe, but not all the ink;)

I could really torture my kids, and have my 11yr old daughter make the mickey heads for me with our cricut and then bring them to work for my calendar :lmao: Ok that was really, really mean.

As promised we have pics of our autograph books that we made through the help of the disigns board members and Walmart! Shout out to 2princesses2princes who first gave me the idea to make these!!! Thanks for the inspiration!!! Love all you guys! :grouphug:

It took us WAY too long to figure out how we were going to do this, should we print them at home and have them bound, are we using the right files, can this be done cheaper on line? We figured it out, and I think they turned out great! We are very proud of ourselves (pat on back) :snooty:

We are even considering printing out some passports for WS...we'll see...

Love the autograph books! I'm checking the mail anxiously every day for ours, even though they probably won't get here until the end of the week or the beginning of next.

How are those books bound? Like a normal softcover book? I ordered through Snapfish and they are spiral bound, which I think will be great for opening to the page so it lays flat, but I'm a little concerned about how durable they'll be.

Those autograph books are awesome!!! I just ordered the "standards" from the online store for younger kids and a WS passport book from merchandising for older DD. I am just not that "crafty"...:upsidedow However, I DID print off the downloadable trip journal from an "un-named" website for the older kiddos to do. :thumbsup2

I believe I can answer that!:surfweb: They are bound professionally by walmart.com, it looks like a regular softcover book with glue. I looks very durable though.:teacher:

There's just nothing in the world like that special feeling you get deep in your soul when you walk out in the morning to the sound of your whole street SCRAPING ICE OFF THEIR CARS!!!!!! :headache:

Of course this is the morning that I HAVE to go out..Man I wish I was at Disney right now :sad1:

Managed to get out this morning.."scrape, scrape,scrape.." :headache:

Got my hair done, had some lunch, now I am on Dis again
I've got a small update to our plans..
We have a "down" day planned mid week to give us a chance to re-group, rest maybe swim if it's warm enough. Since we aren't on the dining plan this time I never bothered to make any ADR's for that day..thought we would head over to DTD and find a counter service for dinner. Well, the other day I was talking to the girls about menus and wanting to sit down with them soon and look over the counter service restaurants to get a feel for what they would want to eat for our lunches. DD6 says she wants to eat at that restaurant that we walked by and couldn't eat at...:confused3 wanna narrow that one down kid? ;)
She says that dinosaur one.."OH...you mean T-Rex?" Yep that's the one..well, I'm on it, we've got that day free and I know we want to go to DTD..let me pull up my bookmark for Disney Dining..yep, I've got it bookmarked :surfweb::rotfl:
Nope, sorry..no reservations available for lunch, or dinner ALL DAY? What? That can't be right! So I just got off the phone T-Rex..yep, I'm a good Mommy and I went right to the source! :thumbsup2 I was told they have a limited number of reservations for Disney Dining..that doesn't sound very nice, but I got one so I don't really care anymore :snooty:
So, this LONG rant about T-Rex ends with an ADR for lunch at 11:30. :cool1:
Also here is the number to call if you want one, too! 407-828-TREX (8739)
I'm excited, I think I will let this one be a surprise for DD6..she was pretty disappointed when she found out we couldn't eat there..this will be a cute little surprise just for her ;)

NICE! You are a good mommy!:crazy:

You're welcome for inspiring you to do your own autograph books, and honestly I like the way yours turned out much better. Great JOB!!!!

Awesome job on getting the T-Rex ressies. I know my boys would LOVE it there, but I just dont' care to do it this time around. I hope they will forgive me. Dan and I have done Rainforest and it was fun, overpriced but fun. I know T-Rex would be a blast but we wont be in Downtown enough to warrant it.

Ice is so fun. I luckily didn't have to scrape this morning but hubby did. He had to scrape alot since it's been parked since the accident on Saturday there was a layer of ice. We had freezing rain Monday night.

Yeah, we've had that freezing rain here a couple of times this week
How's your husband feeling? I got my back pretty much back to normal..it took 3 adjustments at the Chiro..but so far so good...

I love those books. They are great. I made that style of book once for my dad for fatherday. I obviously used pictures instead of Disney autograph pages though. :rolleyes1 It is a nice book.

Yeah, I don't think my dad would want a book with disney characters for Father's Day either..:lmao:

Major change! I always here myself say the word "major" like Posh Spice: Mayjah...HAHA :lmao:

Okay, anyways :rolleyes1

Major plan change!! Well, major to me..it involved switching park days, which in turn involves changed ADR's..so that's pretty major to me;)

I was lurking on the Theme Park board :surfweb: and saw a thread about Mardi Gras and posted that I was going to be at MK that day and it wasn't a recommended MK day by TP's. That was about a week ago..since then a couple of people posted responses that they either were going to be there or had been there on Mardi Gras in the past. They are all worried it will be busy..and so I thought what about going to Epcot? Checked for the same ADR and it was available, and checked for the same ADR at MK for the next day..not the same time, but definitely good. I haven't canceled our old ADR's just yet..wanna check with Ferb to make sure he is cool with this change in plans. My only concern with going to Epcot this day is that it's an AM EMH:scared1:. I know well enough to avoid those because we don't have hopper passes. But I'm thinking that the size of Epcot might be able to absorb the crowds better than MK and if we take advantage of that EMH we can get the biggies all done in the first hour and then grab FP's for our second ride later. Like I said, I am waiting for final approval from Ferb, but he usually just defers to me :thumbsup2 We like to keep them thinking that they have all the power, but we know who really does...Right, Ferb? HAHAHAHA!!!

Right now I have Epcot planned for a morning EMH too. I just think that day works better for us, but I will have to think it over some more too.
