This PTR needs a name!!! Hope to see you real soon!! Well, not too soon!

I'm so glad you did the survey I created! Good to see that it's catching on. :)

I don't like the Tower of Terror either. :sad2: I don't like the feeling of flying out of your seat. But my sister makes me ride it with her. Well actually, it's more like, she comes to a compromise with me so that I will ride it with her. In our 2006 trip to Disneyland, the compromise was that she would ride a scary coaster at Knott's Berry Farm (a California Amusement park) if I would do Tower of Terror with her. In 2008, I sort of blackmailed her. Haha, evil I know. I told her that if she didn't make a silly singing video with me in the hotel room, then I wouldn't ride Tower of Terror with her.

You can check out the silly blackmail video at the youtube link if ye want. It's pretty dumb but haha oh well! :rotfl2:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AzuoG9WP6fg

I'm not sure what the "compromise" or "blackmail" will be this year but I'll think of something. Ha ha ha!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

Isn't it exciting to remove those Mickey Heads? In so many ways I wish we could do that, but were not telling the kids the date we are leaving so we can't. They know it is between 29 and 50 days away, or something like that. I so badly want to tell them, but I can't. Maybe I should make myself a countdown calendar at work and take Mickey heads off. That would get me some interesting looks from my coworkers that's for sure.

I think we are down to 37 days. So are you a major planner? Do you have lists upon lists for your trips? I am horrible, I have so many lists I can't keep track of them all.

Yep we love removing those heads!!! HAHA!!! And you should bring one to work, maybe make it into a flip thingie..those mickey heads are pretty big and you would need a big board to make a calendar..
Love the idea of when you are leaving being a surprise! I have come to the realization that my kids don't do well with surprises..oh well...
As for planning, compared to some here on the boards I wouldn't consider myself a major planner, but I do like to do lots of research and find that it helps alot to know what's going on when we go..I hate the idea of missing out on something just due to ignorance...

We didn't always live so close. We lived in PA, and we had annual passes every so many years for Disney. DS ended up in the hospital every Fall, Spring, and winter due to asthma. For recovery we came to Disney, and he would bounce right back. His pediatrician recommended we move to a more temporate climate. He said Puerto Rico, we decided on FL!! Of course if we moved to FL we had to be near Disney! DS has had no hospitalizations for asthma since we moved! So we are very happy, but miss family being 1000 miles away.

Back when we lived in PA, an AP cost us as much as park passes for 9 days. So we would plan stays twice a year, 11 months apart. Skip a year. Then repeat!

Wow...that sounds pretty scary having your DS in the hospital so often!! I'm not surprised that you took the Dr's advice to move, but what a huge decision to have to make!!! Glad that it all worked out for you guys!

Oh, and a Welsh Dragon is a drink served at the Rose & Crown at Epcot...YUM-MY !!!!!

Holy CARP Batman!!!:fish: We have gotten about 80 views today!! WOO HOO!!:cool1: I just love it when people post, so feel free to put your two cents in!!!

I have been very busy today :laundy::laundy::laundy: and trying to keep the girls from killing each other while I do it!!

I've been thinking about our plans for each day of the week, and I know that we have our parks picked out based on the Touring Plans best park days, mostly that is, and then our ADR's are made accordingly. Now that I have everyone's "to do " lists I was thinking of our actual plan of attack per day..per se..:rolleyes1
So without further ado, here is my plan of attack..mind you this is being made up even as I type..:surfweb:
Thursday March 3rd:
Our flight is at 6:30 AM and we live in another country from the airport..we need to get up really early, so actually this day needs to start the night before with everyone showering and going to bed REALLY early..sleep aids will probably be used as well..everyone knows how hard it is to fall asleep the night before a Disney trip :hyper:
On Thursday morning we will need to get up at a ridiculous hour so I'll be setting the alarm probably for 3:30 and getting my self ready before waking the troops. Once we are on the plane all will be well, the girls got DSi's for Xmas so that will keep them entertained, I will have my Kindle and Ferb has his I-touch. We are quite the electronic family..crazy...
I can't wait until we land in Florida and catch the first glimpse of palm trees..I love that they have them all over the airport!! I know I'm nuts!
We plan to take our time getting to the DME area, we got lost last time:confused3 I really don't know how? I think we may have gone to the wrong side of the airport? Oh well, this time we will take our time and read all the signs and even ask for directions :scared1: ;)
I had listed on my things to do the DME bus, because last time we ended up on a regular Mears bus with no Disney welcome video, it was so HORRIBLE!!! I never realized how long that drive was until I had to do it without the video!! We rented a car in '09 so driving there ourselves was completely different and exciting in itself. This time, we agreed to wait for the next bus if they try to stick us on that Mears bus again!! We are patient and are willing to wait. We land at 9:15 so no biggie to hurry, our room won't be ready and maybe we can get something to eat at the airport if we are hungry.
Once we make it to the hotel we will deal with checking in and then wander the resort exploring and if it is warm enough, swim. We may take advantage of the fishing there that day. If we can't swim we might head over to DTD on the boat and check things out there. The girls really want to get their hair wrapped again and it was way cheaper at DTD than at the resort. If we can get into our room:flower3: that would be awesome, if not no biggie we can manage with our carry on and the change rooms at the pool, we have done it before.
Lunch will be at the resort unless we head to DTD, and we are getting a delivery from Garden Grocer that afternoon, so once we do get into our room we can unpack, put away the perishables and maybe take a nap:cloud9:

Dinner is at DTD at Raglan Rd, we hope to see the entertainment again, I need to check on their website to confirm times. We may have too early of an ADR to see them. The girls really enjoyed the dancer and I LOVE Irish music.:shamrock:
Then it's early to bed and early to rise the next morning for Magic Kingdom!!!

Stopping by to say hi!! :wave2: I found you from the March thread and read before, but somehow lost you. So I'm back and reading along!!
