You don't have to use any ramps at TTC between the MK-to-Epcot monorails, if you take the Express Monorail from MK to TTC.
The doors slide open (wait for them to slide open on your right, forward-facing) on your Express car, you take less than a dozen steps straight across the platform, and you are waiting for the Epcot Monorail.

You must use the down-ramp, up-ramp situation if you are riding the RESORT Monorail to TTC and on to Epcot.

:thumbsup2 Thanks for that tip!

OP: TY so much for posting this. I'm new to this and I've had trouble figuring out how to get between AK and the other parks. I'm so glad you posted!!

Thanks so much to fellow Bama fan PrincessTiffany for posting this. We've been going to WDW since 2002, but until this September, we've always driven. Being kind of(well, REALLY) impatient, rather than use the busses, we've always driven for all the hopping we've done. This September will mark the first (and sadly LAST if the oil prices don't drop!) time we'll fly, and the bus transportation situation had been giving me a sinking feeling. Thanks to this thread, I feel much better about not having a car and being dependent on Disney to get us where we want to go! :cool1: Woohoo!! :cool1:

Glad the ino helped!

Oh, yeah! Roll Tide!!!

Bumping this info and asking a question. Are there any park to DTD or DTD to park buses?

Are there any park to DTD or DTD to park buses?

No. There used to be, but tons of people were parking for free at DTD and taking the buses to the parks. There was no parking for the people who were there to shop in DTD, so they stopped running the buses to and from the parks.

No there is not. To get there from the parks you need to get on a bus or boat from one of the Resorts and from there you would go onto DTD. It would be the same thing but the other way around when wanting to go from DTD to the one of the parks.

...a CM told us that the only way to Hop was to take the bus from park to resort and do the transfer there. Since then that's the way we have always done things...

Same here, how can the CMs not know this? Wish I would have been paying more attention myself though, at least NOW I know!! :disrocks:

I am still so totally shocked when someone posts that a WDW employee told them that you have to go to a resort and transfer to get to another park by bus! At least now you know, just think of all the time it will save you when you park hop!

:goodvibes I have to chime in with others to say . . . Thank you for posting this information!

:sad2: We were always told "NO" from the CMs regarding park to park bus service. Maybe, they were confused with the no park service from DTD. :thumbsup2 We plan to use Disney transportation to travel from park to park during our upcoming WDW trip.

Thanks for posting about the park to park buses.

I have a question about the MK bus drop...

I only recall being bussed from the resort to TTC and then having to either monorail or boat to MK? From some of the prior posts on this thread, it sounds like there is a bus drop at MK gates. Is this true?

Also, just sharing, I've always thought it was Ticket & Transportation. When did it change?

All "Park-to-Park" transportation for MK terminates at TTC.

Only RESORT buses terminate at the MK front gates.

TTC: Transportation and Ticket Center is what they call it now...
I seem to remember it being said the other way, years ago.

There is a current sign at one of the bus depots (I think at DHS or DAK)
that says, "Ticket and Transportation Center.")

All of the buses exist. That much I'm certain of. I can't believe someone was so rude!

Awe well, just gotta know the locations I think, maybe that's what gets most people. So many people see the resort buses to the left after they leave Magic Kingdom and think that's the main bus route, when it's actually the Ticket Center after the monorail is the main parking area for Magic Kingdom... weird. Happy Mousing!

:dance3:

I didn't read the whole thread, but there isn't direct service from DHS to DD, I found. Not sure about the other parks to DD, but we had to take the bus to Port Orleans, then to DD.

No bus service between DTD and the parks.
That is by design... to stop guests from parking free at DTD and riding to
a park.
