The Stanley Cup!
Jay Pandolfo from the Devils is from a neighboring town and he brought the Cup to the town common. This is the second time hes done it(2000, too) and the second time Ive gone to see it. Its still very cool to actually see it live and in person, especially knowing my Bruins will never win it.
I wish I wasnt so technically challenged or I would post a picture.

Of course you know, it's only a temporary stop...it'll be back in Detroit before long (LOL)!

What I find funny is that they give it to the players to run around with...lord knows what these guys have done with the thing!! One of the Red Wings showered with it a few years ago....or at least that was the rumour!

Ewwww! You are right. You have to wonder where that thing has been...especially with those wild hockey players.

Hey, that's really cool! My DH would be jealous - just being in the "presence" of the Cup would probably turn him into a blubbering idiot.

Of course that will probably never happen, as the Sabres will probably never win the Cup in our lifetime.

I agree Penny2! We have to "let" others have a turn once in a while or they would take their pucks and go home.
I have heard some really funny stories about that cup!!
