I think the LV will be lovely during the early morning and throughout the day, while the MLK view will be best at night.

Very nice! We are trying the MK view this December, then if we deem that it's not worth the points, we will happily go with lake view. It sure looks pretty in your picture.

I agree! It looks beautiful. But, we're VWL folks, and really enjoy being able to come home from the parks or DTD and feel like we're staying in another world.

We did the Contemporary tower once and are so glad we did it. The view of MK and the castle (especially at night) was spectacular. There was also the noise from busses going to MK and looking down to see a parking lot. Pros and cons. We love having all the choices at Disney and DVC!

Yeah, I could most definitely live with that view - thanks for posting the picture. I may be the exception, but a MK view just isn't worth the points to me. More likely than not, I'll be at MK during Wishes, especially with BLT just a 10 minute walk away. But, this lake view is so appealing - it just screams relaxation!

Our guide said that anything with a sliver of the lake is considered a lake view just as any view with a sliver of MK (Space Mountain or the castle) is considered a MK view.
