This may be a stupid question but I just want to make sure!

I'm staying onsite in RPR in September and I know that you get the Express pass when staying there, but you do need to buy the tickets to get in?

I have purchased them as part of my holiday package but one of my friends (who hasn't been) asked why they wouldn't be part of the hotel benefits!

Also just a question about travelling from the resort to the parks, is it long to walk it or is there some way to get down to them faster? What time do you need to leave the hotel to be in the park for 7 a.m.?

Theme park tickets are NOT included when you stay onsite...unless you buy them as part of a package. You will receive unlimited Express access but you still have to have theme park tickets for admittance.

I'll let someone who has stayed at the RPR talk about ways of getting to the parks.

Thanks Metro West I was pretty sure of that myself but I just wanted to make sure as it's my first (and hopefully not my last) time going!

Building three is closest to the water taxi dock, so it's the easiest way to the parks from that building. In buildings 1 and 2 it's just as fast or faster to walk. We walked in the morning and evening. It was far too hot to walk in the afternoon. Also, for IOA walking is just faster in general. The water taxi drops you at the Citywalk dock on the opposite side from IOA. That was a big pet peeve of ours. For USF the boat dock is much closer.

The walk from RPR to IoA is pleasant in mild temps and takes about 10 minutes give or take. Figure about 3-4 additional minutes for the Studios.

That's pretty cool then, wouldn't mind that in the morning to wake me up a bit! :D
Thank you guys

We did the morning walk a couple of times, and it's not bad if it's not hot yet. The boat ride back to RPR is pretty enticing at the end of the day though!
