how do I find out when my kids are off from school for xmas, Easter etc next year? I've seen posts with people talking about their vacations next year where can I find our school calendar?Is there a website? We live in NJ btw.

Call your Board of Education...they should know. If our case, they usually have the school schedules available three years in advance.

sometimes I find this by going to the county school board web site.shouldn't be hard to find w/a search. ours isn't listed yet for next year. i called the school and they gave me the info.

There's probably a web-site for your school district. We use our districts web-site all the time. It had next years calendar posted for quite a while.

I found the website but the calendar is for this year only. oh well I guess I'll have to call the board of ed. Thanks

Sometimes the calendar is only posted until the END of a teachers' union contract with the school board. For instance, our contract was ratified in 02 and expires in June of '05 so that is as far out as the calender goes.

Check at your local school board office.
