Fox News just makes me angry. They don't know anything, I swear to god. They're acting like the Canadian military hasn't done crap and they don't deserve the break their getting.
It's so close minded I could scream.

I hope this isn't seen as political... I don't want it removed.. I'm just saying these people are supposed to be professional news casters? How can we even take them seriously if they decided that a Canadian RCMP is less of a police man because once and a while he has to dress up in Mountie uniform?

I actually think this guys show is more for a lighter take on current issues, meant as a comedy. You wonder why he gets no ratings.

Yeah, when I lived in Toronto the winters were pretty much the same as New York and summers were really hot.
And Vancouver is always warm too.

It's shows like this that give Americans a bad name! And make people think that we're these stupid people that walk around all "Oh yes, WE IS AMERICAN! WE IS, LIKE, SO COOL!"

I don't want to be thought of as like that, just because a few people are! I mean, my dad was even kind of like "I don't like Canadians! Because the one's I've had to deal with were all a major pain in the rear." and then I was like: "But....I knew a Canadian once! And he was really nice!"

I even own a CANADA t-shirt. Because...Canada's awesome. Or at least I think so. It's so pretty there.

Well compare the size of the Canadian military to the U.S. military.

The United States has the 2nd biggest military in the world, Canada's is 46th. I don't understand why you think think they have to do anything though? They are their own country.

Mm, and I'm pretty sure every war we're currently in is to help out another country.
We do a lot of peacekeeping, which isn't head on combat. It's a lot more, it's stabalizing a country.

The same could be said for our military. Maybe they don't have the resources available in Canada to do as much as they would like to? Maybe they don't feel like they have to do everything.

I don't think our government finds it important to spend money on weapons to fight wars that are not ours, or we don't need to be apart of.
So instead we send our military on peacekeeping missions to help countries in post-war situations.
