This is why martha has an 18x18 album (rofl by the way)

Haven't been to Mikes yet to see the MS stuff. Don't really care for her. I think between her and Oprah they are too full of themselves. The MS scrapbooking stuff I did see, looks like what is already out there, why would I buy her overpriced stuff? The only thing I like about MS products is her sheets from Kmart, They really are nice and hold up well.

YEA!!! YEA!!!! :cool1: :cool1: YEA!!! YEA!!!! Doing a happy dance!!!
I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo glad I am not the only one out here in the world who thinks that the M person is truely an Idiot!!!! :lmao:

See ever since she has "graced" us with her presence on National television some years ago, she has rubbed me the wrong way!!!!! I never liked her and never watched her and have ALWAYS boycotted her!!!! Cheered when she went to prison!!! SIZE="1"](Yes, that was me in the front row!!!! :rotfl2:) SIZE]

Anyway, not even sure ifin I can even stomach the possibility of going to Michaels now that they are carrying that M stuff now (Can't even say the name!!!) :rotfl: But, the curiosity in me with this absolutly ridicioulous 18X18 album!!! I might just have to see. Does she actually expect people to cart this bad boy to crops???? :rotfl2: How much does is weigh? Does it come with it's own wheelie cart??? :rotfl2: Do you have to pay another $200.00 for the wheelie cart? :rotfl2: Which would bring the album cost up to $280.00??? :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao: OK, I am just out of control here!!!!

Off to ACM I go!!!!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: You all are too funny!

OT--Piratesmate, that is a really cool pic in your siggy :)

Thanks! :teeth: :teeth:

That's my DS. It's an old one - about 10 yrs - but it's the best one of him "flying". Plus it doesn't really show his face. I'm not sure he'd be too thrilled about me posting my most recent favorite TKD one.

So she had all her stuff on her show, and no I did not watch it. It happened to be on when DD and I woke up from a nap. Anywho she didn't even seem to know her product very well. She stumbled through the whole segment.
Then she started rambling about how she was going to have to do a show on how to build a craft room.
The only positive thing I saw was her self healing mat. It was really nice and large too but it would have to be a permanent feature in a room, it's to big to take with you. And her cutting system is not like Fiskars. It's a plastic straight edge and a separate rotary tool. The rotary tool did hook into the straight edge though so it wouldn't move as you were cutting. Still you would need a big honkin' table for that bad boy!

Well, can I be the first to tell her what to do w/ her craft room??? All us normal people have a corner of a room and a table..and we do pretty darn good work with that, don't we???

I was so happy to get a corner of a room and a table that's permant. No more moving bags of stuff from a closet to the dining room table

That's about all I have also. Had to move DH's antique chest w/mirror in our room in order to have that space (I didn't want it there, but it was the only way).

DH and I were in Mike's yesterday, so I showed him the product line (he had heard about it on the radio). He picked up an album ("Are you sure I don't need white gloves to handle this?":rotfl: ) and the first thing out of his mouth was, "Gee that's heavy. It will weigh a TON once you get it filled." Now mind you, my DH is a fairly burly dude.;) Needless to say, he wasn't impressed either. He also couldn't believe I only spent .80¢ in there, but that's another story...:lmao:

I know. The few times I have watched her shows, I always turn the tv off thinking, "huh?". I just don't have the time to make my own pasta or hand paint my napkins or whatever. We need a daytime diva who does things the REAL way. You know, how to beat the bad lines at McDonalds or how to make PB&J sandwiches that don't ooze on the car seats on the way to soccer practice! :rotfl2:

The sad thing is, I'm not really kidding.

I hear ya! If I did all the domestic stuff she "does" (cough, cough), I wouldn't get any sleep. Really, who has time for all that stuff?:confused3

Can I ask a stupid question? I always wondered this, say MS wanted to make a PB&J sandwich, does she just schlep the PB&J on some bread or does it have to be this grand affair with sprigs and all that hoohaa.
I told you it was stupid, I just wondered if she was just.....normal. Or did everything have to be on such a grand scale.

Martha doesn't schlep. She tells her underpaid assistant to go make a afternoon repast that must include a peanut patte, fruit blanchmange, and must be on a patisseria-using the everyday 14K rimmed china.

Heck, I was gonna tell ya... they hired an orchestra too! :rotfl:

I let my son put away the dishes and he broke my 14k gold rimmed plates... oh well! :rotfl2:

OR throw her 18 x 18 scrapbook album at him.
