We have been saving and planning a family vacation for quite awhile. My DH and I are treating our daughter, son in law, and two grandbabies to a week in November following Thanksgiving. Never anticipating free dining at that time, we booked a camper rental, a week at the Fort, and the dining plan. I have been saving each payday in the Disney vacation account and adding funds as I could. Then comes FREE DINING!!! So, I waited on the phone last night for 90 minutes and could wait no more. Got up this morning and tried again on the way to work (thanks bluetooth Finally, I got through. I was able to score a cabin for 6 nights with tix and free dining for about 1000 less than I was going to spend. Here's the best part.....I already had three of my tickets. In order to secure the free dining, I had to purchase at least a 2 day water park ticket. So, that's what I did. Disney is going to refund my money for my unused tickets so that I can put that money back into my vacation account and change the two day water park tickets to 7 day hoppers. The only $ that I will lose through the whole thing is the $20 fee for canceling the camper rental. So, when people ask me why I keep going back to Disney, here's a perfect example. Thanks, Disney. I will always be a fan
