Not FP+/-, not ADRs, and not magic bands. We leave Monday morning for my girls' first ever trip to WDW.

Tucked DD6yrs in last night. She asked me in all seriousness 'do you have a time machine?' I wondered where she was going with it & assumed it was in a book she read. She said 'I just want it to be tomorrow night already!!!'

Told DD3yrs yesterday '2 more days!' She shouted at the top of her lungs "'til we go to Disney World! My heart, my heart so happy!!" W
with a smile from ear to ear!

We are taking this trip for them and they are ecstatic, they ARE the magic. If I see their little faces light up with joy many times each day, I will be thrilled and it will be the exact vacation I hoped for.

Disagree, flame away, but THIS is what WDW is to me!

Have a great trip!

We leave in three weeks for our three year old daughter's first trip. We have that sane magic here!

So sweet!

I am hoping my DD11 will get more excited as time gets closer for her 1st trip.

I still feel that way when I get down to the last day before the trip! It's not about the details, it's about the feelings. :thumbsup2

Yes that is truly the Disney Magic!!!

We are going in 10 days for our 4th trip in 4 years and ALL my kids ds16, ds13, dd7 and dd3 have been counting down! The closer it gets the bigger the smiles! Love it!

Very touching story.

Our next visit will be the first in a long time with a young child. We'll be taking our niece, who has never been on a vacation anywhere. Needless to say, this will make a big difference in our priorities and perspective. We're in the gap between having adult/teenage kids but not yet having grandchildren. I'm looking forward to experiencing Disney through the eyes of a child again after all these years, especially for a little girl for whom this will really be a dream come true.

You never get too old to be excited about a trip to Disney - I have a countdown calendar on my refrigerator and my nephew (21) along with his girlfriend (21) have one on their phones. (Funny how the age difference with technology works). But once we hit the under 100 day mark we were all giddy.

The time starts really going faster once you get past the 100 day mark.

Totally agree and will add that it works for older people as well. I had a bad 2013. Was in the hospital for a while, had to stay home for work because of things, my father passed after a horrible illness and we attended the remembrance for him. I did't really think about going back to Disney World but now we are and it's giving me a lift. A huge lift. No final plans but just thinking about it? Awesome!

YES! My kids wake up every morning and say, "How many more days until Disney?"

My kiddos are also like this - they get SO excited to go. They are 8 and 4, have saved maps from previous trips and lay the maps out and make plans. They are so funny to watch. And they KNOW we only have 46 more days to go... ;)
