Who would of ever thought one day you would have to pay to watch a box. Let alone you have to pay to even get it turned on. That is why I dont buy any of the cable or direct tv. I have my little roku box . And only pay for Hulu and netflix.

I'm just glad to have my morning routine back. Four mornings without that station and I felt like I had no idea what was going on in the world. Funny thing is that I still watched the ABC news at night! :lmao:

For the business? or everything at once?

Well since our business is the three apartment buildings that IS everything at once! :rotfl: We had until Tuesday until they were technically delinquent, but I've been fretting since we didn't pay them Feb 1st!

Good thing you have the last unit listed for rent.

I want to know who came up with the tax idea. They probably dont know the mess they created.

Well, add us to those spending money on repairs. We've had several strong wind storms this winter. One of them picked up our gas grill & trashed it. So we were planning to get a new one soon. Last week after a very slightly windy day, the siding trim came loose on one side of the house. So getting that repaired. DH noticed the TV was slow to start up this weekend. Didn't think too much of it, it's only 6 years old & we haven't had any other problems with it. Yep, it died yesterday. Totally dead. Unfortunately, we are TV people. :rolleyes1 So we spent last night @ Best Buy. DH got his dream: 50 inch HD with surround sound. It has 3 D but we probably won't use that anytime soon.

Of course, just a few weeks ago DH made a list of projects we want to do : new fridge; new furnace & central air (don't currently have air conditioning); take the huge tree down in the yard; new landscaping in front. Family room needs new carpet & furniture too. Guess we'll have to prioritize which to do this year & which to delay. Plus we're planning to redo the 1/2 bath on DH's Sept vacation. Owning a home is great, isn't it? :rotfl2:

Sorry to hear Fran will need surgery. But I hope it will finally clear up the infection so she can heal once & for all.

All the Vegas trips sound great. :goodvibes Too bad you won't all be able to have a Dis meet. It will be quiet here in mid May with everybody traveling . :)

The cooking school sounds very promising, Disneyfirefly. Hope it works out for you.

Glad you're feeling better Skiing. And sorry they didn't give you any answers Queenie. You must be so tired of being in pain.

Skiing, how was your DR. appointment? Good to go?

Home improvements, gotta love them. We live in an apartment now so none of that for us. It is disheartning at times, as I cant paint and stuff. I am not one who is usually quiet on vacations, I still check in and play. So I am still active.

Dis is acting strange, and not just slow.

WOW!!! Our/my parents house is long suffering as we spend the money on travelling...
We could do with all of those. Especially a new kitchen (yes the oven and cooktop is older than me)

And sorry they didn't give you any answers Queenie. You must be so tired of being in pain.
That's the worst part.... :sad1:

I'm still in pain...with a lovely bruise on my left hand from the failed attempt cannula and then the blood draw :headache: My two jabs in my right arm and one in my left haven't really bruised yet really

I hope everything comes back negative.

That's the problem :lmao:
They are all negative for major things...which is good...but doesn't 'explain' it.
My temp spiked at 101 at one point with a high white blood cell count which all indicates infection. So the blood cultures might eventually show something...

I mean it's good it's not anything in my brain or spine...
But...
I want answers :sad1:

Well except that about 3weeks ago the one next to the vacant apartment gave notice. :rolleyes1 That one needs a new kitchen and paint. Luckily we redid the bathroom two years ago, but we go totally ripped off.

Then we are going to throw out the gal in the unit above the currently vacant apartment and redo hers. While we're at it if the Handyman/Gardener who lives in #5 doesn't get his act together, he'll be getting a pink slip too, we'll remodel and double the rent! Plus we have to close down the music store in #4 in our building and redo that. What costs us $3000 a month could potentially make us $1600 a month!

Queenie - could it possibly be a sinus infection? I get headache like a migrane with mine.
