We are staying a the Hilton. A little off the strip. David has never been before....So this is part of his Birthday present.

We used to stay at the Hilton a lot, back when they had the Star Trek Experience. It's a nice hotel. See if you can get a room in the "new" tower (which isn't so new any more!).

Do you have any dinner reservations? There are lots of awesome restaurants in Vegas.

I have not made a single reservation, I was not sure what to do and I was overwhelmed with options!

Got any tips...

Some of my favorite place are:

The Hofbrau House, but that place is huge you can most likely do a walk in.
Andre's at the Monte Carlo is really fancy French style food. I've always left in a food coma, but their soufflés are to die for.
Anything at the Bellagio, I've been to Le Cirque, Picasso and the Steakhouse.
I wasn't so impressed with Emeril's Fishouse, but his Steakhouse was great.

At the Rio is a Napa something restaurant that was really good, but I haven't been there in over 10 years. All the Celebrity Chefs have numerous restaurants, but I doubt they ever really go to them. For an awesome breakfast try one of the Blueberry Hill coffee shops. There are two on Flamingo (I think) they have big fluffy pancakes, and giant portions.
You guys might like the Harley Davidson cafe. Down home food and the "decor" is bikes, so you'd have lots to drool over while waiting for your food.

There are so many choices it can be overwhelming. On our trip we are only making one reservation at Del Frisco's steakhouse. Fran really likes their onion rings and their Wagyu Rib eye is pretty awesome, not to mention the Oysters and molten chocolate cake....everything we had there was tasty.

So many good places for food. I like the buffet at Planet Hollywood, and they have the Earl of sandwich. I like where we stay they have a good breakfast. It is complimentary. Theres egg, bacon, sausauge , toast, cereal, fruit, all kinds of stuff. Saves money there. I kinda like to nibble so I dont get so full for dinner, I look forward to that.

Good Afternoon everyone.

I wasn't planning it but it almost seems like I'm required to visit Vegas this Spring.

Well, it might do you good.

Maybe but this will be a busy time for me. DS will have Soccer after school a couple days a week and games each weekend until mid June. That really throws a wrench in the planning gears.

:eek::eek: Look out! Party time

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :cool1:

No, I'm actually having uninterrupted DIS time!

Why is this?

Fran is at a Doctor appointment. Her wound is being debrided, which means that they are removing the yellow goo which is in there. I decided that this would be painful and time consuming and she said I didn't have to go, so I took her up on it.

Darcy, Jim and I finished all the cleaning out at the apartment. I have the website almost finished. I'm working on that too. You guys can see the kitchen, living room and bathroom so far at www.longproperties.biz

Holy moly, is she ok to drive home? The apartment looks awesome! I have been busy this morning. It gave you time to catch up with computer work.:thumbsup2

From the picture taken on the street, it has a second unit on the upper floor? Do they each have a garage?
