DH used to mention my expensive taste in glasses. I has lasik four years ago. Less than a year after that, his eyes started going bad. He spends more on glasses than I ever did.

I've only ever had the glasses that my insurance would pay for, so they're usually pretty cheap.

Ours were both expensive with ins, but his are always worse. He has an eye appt one week from today. The glasses with the exam for contacts and glasses, usually cost him between $300 and $400 a pop. Then, he goes back and spends more throughout the year on contacts. I rarely bought contacts, because I did not like them. Long story.

We dont have ins, so have to pay. My DL is due in June so I had no choice. I have a bad stigmatism, bifocals. I cant even get the ultra thin lenses. Oh well , sometimes you do what you have to do. It takes 2 weeks to make them. UGH!

I think my vision is 20/100 or something like that. I just can't afford to get new glasses because I don't have insurance and my wages are pretty low.

Wow, that came out badly. That that's supposed to say is "This is me typing without my glasses, just feeling with my fingers on the keys something or other". Even the font on my screen is blurry if I look over the rim of my glasses.

I was like "I'M HAVING TROUBLE SEEING IN SCHOOL I NEED TO GO TO THE EYE DOCTOR" and it turns out I really did need glasses
