Looks can be deceiving.
The queen Mary 2 sits only 24inches above the bottom of our Sydney harbour dock.

At the time of her construction in 2003 by Chantiers de l'Atlantique, Queen Mary 2 was the longest, widest and tallest passenger ship ever built, and with her 151,400*gross register tons*(GRT), was also the largest. She no longer holds this distinction after the construction of Royal Caribbean International's 154,407*GT Freedom of the Seas in April 2006 However, this vessel has also been surpassed in size but the Queen Mary 2 remains the largest ocean liner (as opposed to cruise ship) ever built.

The dam overflowed and continues to overflow. However the flow rare is now stable enough such that the immediate area is no longer getting any major flooding.

Other areas in the state have had quite bad flooding though

Ocean liner is meant for Trans Atlantic crossings, Cruise ships are more for the same schedule.

Queen Mary 2 is quite a liner, I watched you tube videos of the engine room

I'm okay, for the most part. Been running a fever all day and have a sore throat. My voice kept going in and out all night at work yesterday.

Sore throat and croaky voice. People reckon I was shouting at work most of today...but that was so that I could get a sound out.
