Random information as I haven't taken my baby out for a photo shoot yet...

This is what I bought myself from Radley in the UK

http://www.radley.co.uk/Product/97365_Hatfield_Satchel.aspx

I  it but do any of you know a good protective product to put on the canvas part?
I wanted a fully leather bag (and that is mostly what they do) but this pattern was the pattern I wanted and it only came in fabric.
I asked at the store but dumb and dumber didn't have any suggestions other than what they sell to protect the leather.

Oooh. Nice satchel.

For the leather component...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dubbin

For the canvas component...http://www.selleys.com.au/home-cleaning/fabric-protectants/fabric-shield
Otherwise, try something like this. http://www.mrswagman.com.au/canvas-reproofer.shtml
The alternative is to use the stuff that they put on horse blankets to make them water proof.

Thanks. I'll look at those. Mainly want something that won't discolour the fabric at all in the first place

It's going to be a bit of a procedure to do as I'll have to cover all the leather and any metal in the process...but it will be well worth it.

Thanks

The selley's fabric shield should be okay. If you protect the leather first and then use the fabric shield, it should be okay. I think the fabric shield is a teflon spray of sorts. The leather shops will sell it for protecting suede. If it is teflon (and I'm going from swiss cheese memory), then it won't harm the metal bits at all.

cool. Thanks.
I bought a wipe over product from Radley for the leather to use. So I might use that. We also already have a couple of leather protecting things around. It's just the fabric.

Going to go to bed
Night
:wave2:

Good night. I'm not far behind you. Just gonna finish up some of the word games.

Been trying to ignore it tonight but I can't ignore much longer.

It's official.

I have a sore throat.

Gonna pop some panadol and get into bed.

Good night all.

Good Morning Brandi! Hope everyone is feeling better today.

I like that purse, I have a hard time finding purses with a single shoulder strap. My DH bought me the Dooney and Bourke , just like your's Brandi, but it always falls off my shoulder. I wish I could trade it for the one with the brown mickey heads.

Hi! PIO, hope you're feeling better & everyone else too. I see you've all been working hard lately. I've been off but I'll be working a lot this weekend.

I was sorry to read about Robert Sherman. But was I the only one that thought: Oh no. First Davy Jones & now Bobby Sherman!? :confused3

Feel better soon PIO.
