Pretty much, I'm eating dinner with DM and DB so it's up to my mother on Sunday's Dinner. I did get a bunny and chocolate eggs to hide for DS.

Her surgery was delayed to 4PM. I had a massage scheduled and I felt guilty about leaving but she hasn't had anything to drink or a pain pill since before midnight so by now, I don't want to be around her!

Glad the doc gave you the all clear! That was a speedy recovery!

That just sucks that she couldn't eat to prepare, and then couldn't eat longer. When I was in the hospital I made sure I ordered enough food that I could eat right before the fasting began.

Well since they take what I didn't need out and all that has to heal is laproscopic incisions, the healing is about as fast as can be. I just have a little scabbing over the entry wounds. No big deal, since I won't be gardening out in the snow.

It all depends. Normally it would be about one hour, but they aren't sure what they will find when they get in there. Also they are going to attach a "wound vacuum" which is supposed to suck the remaining icky goo out of there to help it heal better. The minimum is 1 hour surgery, 1 hour recover and 1 hour in the the Same Day Surgery Center. They will call me when she gets to same day surgery where I can join her.

Just got the call...on my way there!

Also while at home I checked the points charts. We could not have booked our particular cruise with points, but if we did the highest the points charts go for the week we are sailing is 279pp, so if it were available on points it would have been much more! That is over three weeks in a one bedroom at WDW!

Just going out now to catch up with friends at lunch. Hopefully not too exotic a cuisine they are wanting. Stomach isn't in the mood for that.

Is anyone else having problems loading pictures of all types? I can see text on the dis but not ads, jpg and only some smiles.

I havent tried pictures but I see everything else. I had a stupid thing yesterday, while playing the games , I answered questions and then pushing the back button it took me back to really old posts.

Franandaj, I hope Fran is doing OK. I know several people who have had the wound vacs. I guess they work pretty well, but they are expensive to use. Hoe the insurance covers most of it for you.

Skiing, glad you are almost all healed. Make sure you ease into regular activities so you don't undo all that healing.
