Holy moly, is she ok to drive home? The apartment looks awesome! I have been busy this morning. It gave you time to catch up with computer work.

She was fine driving home, but she has to have surgery on the leg Friday. She won't be OK to drive home from that!

From the picture taken on the street, it has a second unit on the upper floor? Do they each have a garage?

There are five units in the building. Three on the ground and two on the second floor. They have a garage for $100 per month.

It'll take me about half an hour to get to the school from my house, so it's pretty easy to get to.

I have all but one of those on my list This is what I've got:

• Can you explain the application and enrollment process?
• Is the $37k for the whole program or per year?
• Do you offer any scholarships?
• How much help will I get in sorting out my financial aid options?
• Do I need a portfolio prior to applying?
• How long is the program?
• What is your graduation rate?
• What sort of employment assistane do you offer?
• Is an internship required?
• If so, do you participate in the Disney Culinary Program?
• Is the baking/pastry program during the day, or do you offer an evening program?
• If you participate in the Disney Culinary Program, on average, how many students a year are accepted from this school?
• What is the ratio of traditional to non-traditional students? (I'm considered a non-traditional student)
• What is the average amount of financial aid used by students?
• Do you offer any kind of tutoring if it's needed?
• Are students encouraged to form study groups?
• Are students able to sit in on other sections of classes if they aren't getting something?
• On average, how long is a day of classes?
• Is there a part-time program available, or just full-time?
• On average, how many classes are lecture-based and how many are hands-on?

The list looks good. Just keep in mind if the program doesnt supply things, you may have to work to get them. I think the most thing that would concern me is about the hiring ratio. As you will need to repay the loan.

Also keep in mind if it is either part time, or full time how long will this take you to complete.

Yeah, I know. I know that if you do the Disney culinary internship, you actually have a pretty good chance at being hired on full-time if you're willing to stay in Orlando, which I probably would be, so that would help. I'm hoping I won't have to take out loans, which is why I want to ask about scholarships and such. I know I can get federal Pell grants, but that'll only cover about 1/6 of the tuition (if it's 37k a year; if it's 37k for two years, then it'll cover close to 1/3).

I'll add those on I think they accept federal and private student loans but don't offer their own financing, but I'll have to double check on that. With most federal student loans, the repayment starts 6 to 9 months after graduation or dropping out. I know at my old school, you had to maintain a 2.5 to keep your financial aid, so I doubt it'd be any lower at this place.

Dana, you made the mention of your other student loan, will that affect you from getting a loan?

I don't know, but I'm sure I'll find out if I have to apply for one I'm not going to apply for culinary until next fall (2013), though, so I have over a year to get things sorted with my old loan.

Yeah, no kidding... And I do love doing this. I sketch cakes at work when I'm bored between calls and they've been progressively getting more and more complex

You will know more once you talk with them. I remember back in the 70's I wanted to go to dental assisting school it was only 3,000.

Well basically the home nurse referred her to a wound care center. They checked her out, did a lot of invasive scraping of the leg, poking and prodding and determined that the infection last Fall didn't really "heal", the skin just closed up over it. So the little germies just hung out inside her leg waiting until it was a good time to spoil our trips. Then Voila! The skin fell off and the little bugaboos jumped out to give their command performance.

However this time we have been fighting them with aniviotics before they could really take hold, and this Dr. wants to go in and scrape out any last remnants of the infection before it can go back to cellulitis. He pit her in for surgery Friday so she has the maximum possible healing time before our WDW trip.

Of course she didn't tell them about Vegas. She has a follow up next week on Wednesday.
