Wow! That's insane, very slumdog millionaire like, but with a happy ending. I was crying. How sweet that he finally found his family.

My best girlfriend and I both read the article separately on Saturday and we started to talk about it over dinner. We both had tears in our eyes. I got DH to read it on Sunday and even he teared up.

Not sure if you played the video clip but it does depict him, his mother and his old house.

I usually do t click on video links because we have such crappy internet. It takes so long with all the buffering and so many sites now don't download anymore.

We have a situation brewing here. For the last week or so Fran has had another one of those wounds on the same leg that did us in last year. She has been on antibiotics, but it's not getting better. I just told her she should try to postpone the audit and she emailed the Dr. and tha accountant just now about the possibility of postponing. I swear if she ends up having is need to cancel this WDW trip I am really going to wonder if she actually wants to go on these trips.

I hope we don't have to go back to the IV antibiotics, but if we do, let's start it now so we can still go on the trip. I'm thinking we need to start thinking about canceling.

'Twas a very firm discussion I had the project owner. She'll have to step up and manage the next 2 weeks.

I'm not taking either my personal phone nor the work phone with me. If I did take either of the two smart phones, I'd be inundated with emails and calls. Yes, personal experience...the last time I took annual leave in the middle of a large project was when they rolled out the Next G network. I was skiing...and taking phone calls from the top of the mountain.
It is the main reason why I decided I needed a separate new handset and Hong Kong SIM card.

We have an excellent Dr. In fact we sent her a picture of the wound around 11PM via email and she was back to us before midnight. However Fran didn't check her phone until before 1AM. We could have called, but didn't want to disturb her. I imagine that she will call us tomorrow morning. We saw her Thursday evening, but with Fran overdoing it thus weekend and not putting her leg up, that's what is doing in her wound. That and not getting the compression hose that the Dr. ordered last Fall.

I swear I will never speak to her again if she gets sick for another WDW vacay!

Well....I made it plainly obvious that my calendar wasn't the calendar triple booked and if she wanted me to be at meetings this week, she needed to clear out some space. I had also checked the other participant's calendars and had 3 possible meeting times for this week in their calendars and mine.

When faced with that kind of logic and her inability to shift the meetings at those times...well....it was just as well that I had 3 options for the following week as well.

You have all been chatty. I think there was alot blooming there, it got the better of me. My sinuses were drainging and it really gave me a upset stomach. I fell asleep about 7 last night.

Well she was the proactive one on this. She had me start emailing pictures to the doc over a week ago. We started by putting anyi bacterial ointment on it, but it didn't help so Monday night we picked up the antibiotics. She's been taking them since then, but obviously not really helping. I hope we don't have to go to the IV again.
