Hey!
Peanut, that was the idea! I want to have even more stuff on here, but I don't have time because of my hellish schedule...! Thanks for the kudos, hey maybe someday we could get all the DIS Resorts Board FAQ threads together and publish a book. That'd be kind of cool...
ellie&mattysmom, OK Yacht or Beach?
Yacht Club rooms all have full balconies except for the first floor and like a couple of the suites. Go for second floor, near the elevators. You won't get 3 connecting rooms (they don't have 'em). You might get two connecting rooms and one next door, or even across the hall.
Beach Club second floor rooms have full balconies...well, most of them. Request near the elevator away from the construction and you'll be OK.
Y'know, something you guys could try is a Yacht Club 2-bedroom turret suite on the first or second floor. I think it would be cheaper than a standard room, but I'm not exactly sure with tax and extra person fees. That's one thing I don't have exact info up on here about. I figure 3 standard rooms in November are $279 each per night, about $309 with tax, which adds up to around $930 per night for the three. 3 water view rooms during the same season are $325 per night, about $360 with tax, and $1,080 per night for the three.
The turret suite sleeps 8 or 10 (i'm not sure if there is a sofabed in the tower room!), is Water View, and is $1,070 per night...you only need one of these. Whichever fits your needs you should go for, and even if you have 3 parties paying for their rooms individually, y'all could still find a way to split the cost of the suite. We did that one year at the GF...2 nights in the Roosevelt Suite (over $1,600 per night), split 2 or 3 ways.
EGOLIAK, thanx...
