Question about SAB - is there a "lazy river" type of area. If there is - can you rent tubes or are there some available for free? I talked my DH into a second trip in one year to Disney by promising him SAB would be awesome - please tell me it is! Thanks for any replies.

You bet it's awesome-that's one thing that keeps us going back there.
There is a small lazy river and you can rent tubes.

Just snagged AP rates for our stay in August. We're splitting our stay between Port Orleans/Riverside and Beach Club. We've stayed at PO/R before (so we know what to expect there), but the Beach Club is new to us. We've reserved a standard room & I've requested Garden View. Are there any standard rooms that you can see (any of) the WDW fireworks from the room's balcony/patio?

Thanks,
agnes!

I think you would be able to see Epcot fireworks from the 4532 area (see previous post up a bit).

mom_rules -

Many thanks for your advice. Is there a place on the Web that shows where "4532" is in some detail? (I've already looked at the AllEarsNet maps & they are a little hard to read online.)
I guess I don't want to end up overlooking a loading dock or something equally scenic...

Happy Disney AP days :) ,
agnes!

Can someone tell me where on the fifth floor is the lounge?

I'm looking at the dizney zone map but can't figure it out.

thanks!

If you are looking at that map, locate the elevators (red squares) - looks like the junior suite that was just outside the elevators is the concierge lounge now.

I missed it somewhere. Is that Beach Club or Yacht Club? Thanks!

Mom Rules. That orange area was not a Junior Suite. If you are looking at the description next to it is talking about a junior suite on the 4th floor and it also talks about other rooms as well. The lounge is where the Orange area is accross from the elevators (red boxes). This is at Beach Club.

Thanks for the information! I was wondering where the lounge was! So it's on the 4th floor. For some reason I was thinking it was on the 5th floor. Did it used to be on the 5th floor?

My mistake-they would be the room marked housekeeping/service with the "ice" label not jr suite. Yes, this is the BC.

I'm renting points for BCV and I have a question I can't seem to find the answer to...and I'm sure someone on this thread must know! If we decide to use the pool the last day after we've checked out of the villa, are there shower facilities available? I'm assuming there are, as we've done this at other Disney resorts, but I'd like to be sure, and also know where the changing rooms and showers are located. Thanks!

Quick question...I have stayed at the Y&BC twice, but never with kids...are all rooms at the YC with a daybed...I have requested one in my CRO reservation, but wasn't sure if they are hard to get or not.
Thanks

I was told they are not in all rooms, you can request one but it is not guarenteed. Although she did seem to indicate that larger parties (4 or 5) might have a better shot at one.

We had a problem getting one when we stayed at the YC in December. We were a family of 4 when we arrived and my oldest DD was joining us the following day. They put us in a room with 2 queen beds and then tried to squeeze in a rollaway. With the rollaway, we couldn't get to the balcony and you had to climb over the queen bed to get into it. It took some phone calls, but I was finally able to be moved to a room with the daybed (much nicer).

Yes, there are shower & changing rooms available to you after you check out. I think they are located near or in the gym closest to Storm along Bay. You just need to show your room key. Have a great trip, I hope you will love BCV, I do! Deb
