I was hoping for greater discounts w/the AP rate on our LVC rooms. Now I'm considering going standard or non-concierge though I really don't want to. $445 per room is hard to swallow! I can get a standard view concierge for $390 and not sure what non-concierge water view is but I imagine even better than that. Is lagoon view worth it? I Arghh... decisions, decisions!

I am so excited...just got the AP rate of $234 so I saved $1000 for 2 rooms over 7 days(had AAA). Now I just have to go and buy my AP for the rooms.

Well we're off tomorrow! I'll post any rehabs happening at YC/BC for you all when we get there.

This will be our first stay @ YC, June 15-22. Got the AP rate/standard view. Any advice from all you YC veterans? DH, myself and DD(11) Thanks! :wave2:

We've reserved a 1 bdrm. at the Beach Club Villas starting next Wednesday, March 16.
Does anyone know of a certain villa to request......perhaps one with a better-than-average view??? (Or am I too late to request a certain room?) What is the best way to go about doing so (fax, e-mail, call)??? We've stayed at the YC several times before, but we now need the space of a villa to accomodate our growing family......so I'm less familiar with that "end" of the resort. Do the villas have balconies? And can you view the fireworks at Epcot from your balcony/window??
Lastly, is there a separate check-in area for the villas, or do you check-in at the Beach Club??? Any other tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Request on your reservation: garden view/lake side. You have a better chance of maybe a wedding gazebo view or tennis courts. Sure beats parking lot!

I'm very excited, although I have changed my reservations so many times they must be sick of me!

We are finally set:
6 nights WL woods view
5 nights BC water view

I am so excited!! We will be there from June 21-July2. WL first, then BC.
I wasn't sure what view to request for BC so I said "close to Epcot". I know that is further away from SAB. Oh well, I think anywhere at BC we'll be happy! :flower:

good choice
DS13 & I will be at the VWL 6nights, WL 2nights and BCV 6nights

and Ive had many phone calls w/CRO & DVC this past Fri, Mon & Tues - I have alot of confirmations & cancellations & refunds coming to me

As do all of you, I too love the Y & BC. We are staying at the YC-water view-in May and I noticed on the Swan and Dolphin web cam that there is scaffolding (http://www.aws.com/wxcomm/commercial/ccam.asp?sid=LKBNV&siz=l) on the exterior of the yacht club. It is dark now, but in the daylight (or time lapse), you can see the scaffolding. Does anyone know how long this will be there? I am hoping it will not interfere with the magic of our upcoming trip.

Leaving for the BC Resort. We have a Jr. Suite with Concierge. Will take lots of pics and gather lots of info to share when I return! :cloud9:

Have a great time. Don't spend too much time in the lounge. :)

$25 after the first 2 adults.

I tried doing a search but it wouldn't pull up the info.

What is the resort order for bus pickup at the Epcot resorts?

TIA,

Lori

At the end of 2004, it was the Dolphin, the Yacht Club, the Beach Club, the Boardwalk Inn, and the Swan. :)

Where can you get soda refills with your mugs at the YC especially in the early AM, I don't drink coffee and would love some soda before I leave to the park.

Thanks

I prefer the same. You can get your mugs filled at the Ale & Compass. It's in the lobby and open in the morning for danishes, bagels, and the like, and, of course, drinks.

Really? The Swan was last? I thought the Swan and Dolphin were almost always first unless then added in another bus due to "crowding".
