This is the last trip the 4 of us ever take to WDW. Nov 2-12 *FinalUpdate 3/19* Pg.59

We left Club Cool with multiple soda flavors sloshing around in our bellies. Where to go to next? Christopher was getting a bit cranky and we still had a while to wait before our Soarin' FP time. We always walk past the Innovations building and never go in there- well we were going to change that right now.

We tried to find something fun for Juliana to do while Christopher was being occupied by Gramma. How 'bout the The Great Piggy Bank Adventure?

Look at these pigs...

... they were calling our name.

Juliana was ready to play.

Here is Juliana with her new friend.

Juliana had fun playing this game and learned about saving for the future.

We checked out a few more exhibits as well but it was a little busy in there. It was getting close to 12, our Soarin' FP time was coming up, but we were getting a little hungry. This was the last week of the Food & Wine Festival so we figured we do a little snacking.

I stopped at a cart and loaded one of those mini gift cards with $100. I also picked up my passport. We made our way over to the World Showcase. Even though it was a little cool(for the girls), it turned out to be a gorgeous day.

We made a quick stop at the Hawaii stand. It was the perfect spot to grab snack #1- Pork slider with sweet & sour sauce and a Kona longboard lager.

Sorry for the 1/2 eaten slider...

After having our snack it was time to go for our hang glider ride over California.

I wish there wasn't a hight limit on this... I'm sure Bubba would love it. But I guess he has just as much fun if you give the kid his own bench.

Now that we had Soarin' out of the way, we were heading back to the WS. We did stop to pick up an Agent P mission.

Juliana received the Mexico mission. While we walked to her mission, I had to stop and grab snack #2. Honestly, I have no idea what it is. LOL

Ah, Mexico. There you are.

We parked our stroller and Juliana was ready to go!

Gramma & Juliana were following the clues....

...but something wasn't working correctly with her phone. I had to find the kiosk and exchange it for a different one. They finished their mission and really enjoyed it. It was really cool how he game is imbedded in the decorations and you'd never know it was decorated for the game.

We left Mexico after a ride on the 3 Caballero's and continued our walk around the World… I lost all my notes on what I ate (I mean this trip was over a year ago!) but I think this was at the Norway stop.

Looks like Swedish meatballs to me.

Maybe we should have a game- GUESS WHAT TIM ATE.

Another stop for what looks to be potstickers..

Hey! Who is eating my potstickers? That's Juliana's arm. She loved them so much I had to go buy another order of them.

And may I present you……

Mystery something or another!

I have no idea what this is. I guess this isn't a great F&W report. But I will tell you one thing, the crowds in the WS were absolutely I.N.S.A.N.E. The lines for food weren't long but it was getting hard to push the stroller with the amount of people that were weaving in and out, walking the wrong way, and just not paying attention. We didn't see too many intoxicated people, which you read about in many F&W reports. But it was getting frustrating trying to get through the people.

Up next… How about some dinner?

Great update! I love the piggy bank game! I taught my cousin all about 401Ks this past labor day. Pretty sure his head was spinning and he was secretly hoping I never make my way back to Cali. I don't understand why soarin has a height requirement. It isn't an intense ride. Maybe to keep the line shorter?

Your narrative of the food you got is great. I think the second thing looks like some kind of chicken parm? After that Im lost.

I skipped Epcot last year but I went the VERY last day of food and wine this year, the beer lines were over a 20 minute wait! I decided it wasn't worth the $10 per drink and had a drink when I got back to the hotel. I wish the weather this year was the same as last. It was about 78 at race time at 10 pm this year!

It is probably due to the hight and the restraint system.

I thought it was chicken park too… but I believe that is rice next to the thing with the sauce. Maybe it is a burrito or a taco or a fajita…. :confused3

Congratulations on the run! How did it go?

I have friends that were in Disney (If you remember from my past reports- Dave & Branda) last week and were in Epcot on the last day. They said it was absolutely nuts! I'm sure it was worse than the day we were there.

Looks like you found some yummies! :thumbsup2

Glad Juliana like the Agent P game, Mackie wanted to do it before we left but didn't once we were there. :confused3

I'm thinking of doing F&W this next Oct., not sure how I'll like it vs. F&GF. We shall see! :)

This was our day off the ship and we headed to Ak and I thought it was pretty chilly all day, but the evening got darn right cold....well for me at least! :rotfl2:
But we did head to Epcot later...as you know and you are right, the crowds were crazy. I have never seen Epcot that busy in my life. It was hard to just walk let alone do anything.

Yeah the restraint thing makes sense I guess. I'm so clueless when it comes to these things with kids. I was afraid I was gonna break my friends baby last week putting him in the high chair :rotfl:

We now have a consensus on the chicken parm! How bout edible for the last few :confused3?

Thanks! It went very well! I had a severe back spasm after the Disneyland half, so I only had 4 weeks to train for it. I did 3:21 which is actually about 20 minutes better than I thought I would do! Still trying to get back under 3:00 but taking it easy since my back is still a bit messed up. But I finished, I got my coast to coast, and felt so great getting back out there. The course is absolutely amazing!

Yes I do remember them! They are right, It was crazy busy! I haven't seen Epcot that busy even during peak season.

Looks like you found some yummies! :thumbsup2

Well that's not hard for me to do& I have a nose for food. ;)

Glad Juliana like the Agent P game, Mackie wanted to do it before we left but didn't once we were there. :confused3
I wish she did another one but for some reason she didn't. :confused3

Ooooh. Lemme say this: we skipped Epcot this year because Melody didn't want to deal with the crowds. I wanted to spend a day there but I got overruled. :roll eyes:

Cold? You call that cold? :rotfl2::rotfl2:

As the day went on the crowds just got worse. It was like they were giving something away for free. :rolleyes2

:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I guess I won't hire you to babysit. :lmao::lmao:

That works! There wasn't anything that I bought that I didn't eat. :rotfl:

Nice job! One of these days I'd like to run in that race. I guess I'll have to keep on running then. That coast to coast medal is cool too.

Glad we weren't with them! :crazy2:

If I don't get a chance before you go I just want to say to have a great trip!!!!pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

I saw your PM and I'm gonna try to find the FB page. Thanks. :goodvibes

thanks, just 24 hours until our flight leaves :banana
hope you found the FB page!

looks like you got quite a bit of snacking done, we loved the Hawaiian pork slider! not sure what some of your other food was though :confused3

Juliana does very well with her posing :thumbsup2 and how cute is Christopher sitting on the bench, that's a happy little face!

wishing you all a very happy thanksgiving!

Why? :rolleyes1

Ok, she enjoyed it. I guess there must be something in there worth doing then. :rotfl2:

I can't blame you. There wouldn't even be half of one to photograph if it was me.

I wish there wasn't a hight limit on this... I'm sure Bubba would love it. But I guess he has just as much fun if you give the kid his own bench.
Whatever works. :confused3

I love your detailed reporting on the food you had at F & W. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

The lines for food weren't long but it was getting hard to push the stroller with the amount of people that were weaving in and out, walking the wrong way, and just not paying attention.
That's why you use the stroller as a battering ram. :rolleyes1

Sounds like a perfect time for Mission: Space! :thumbsup2

Um...sure, I guess.:confused3:rotfl:

Interesting. Think we can get the U.S. government to play this game?

Makes sense to me.

Just pick the bench up and carry it around the lobby next time; it's basically the same thing.

It was really cool how he game is imbedded in the decorations and you'd never know it was decorated for the game.

Wow! It's this kind of quality trip reporting that makes you want to go experience it for yourself! :cool1:

Up next… How about some dinner?

Seriously? You're still hungry after all that mystery meat?

If we ever get to F&W (we might have a slight chance next year), I'll just go up to certain booths and say "I want what that's nice had....see the picture (I'll be sure have pictures with me). :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

You know I don't recall if they had that piggy bank game when the kids were little. We spent very little time in Innoventions then or now.

I just can't believe how big Juliana is looking in her pictures. Where has the time gone?

Why there is a height restriction on Soarin' I don't understand. But Christopher looks very proud of himself sitting on the bench all by himself.

Juliana looks like she is having fun with the game. Amazing all the new stuff they have for the kids game wise.

I guess I won't hire you to babysit. :lmao::lmao:

Nice job! One of these days I'd like to run in that race. I guess I'll have to keep on running then. That coast to coast medal is cool too.

Glad we weren't with them! :crazy2:

Haha I am actually a great babysitter. I have yet to lose a child! Granted the two kids I babysit are 13 and 17, and it is only when the parents leave the country lol. Still trying to figure out who let the 3 year old turn 13

Thanks! This was a great race! I would definitely recommend it. Id also recommend coming in the night before and staying after the race verses before it. There wasn't much Christmas stuff around this year. I was very disappointed.

Im glad I went to F&W my first day there and didn't leave it til the last day. I can't handle crowds like that.

Ok I have no clue where I was at so I'll start again from the beginning. After all, isn't what a sick leave is for... to rest?

Awe, what a great meeting with Mickey. Looking at the kiddos and their smiling face is so heartwarming.

I know how your mother felt being hit on. Even if it was by a character. It always makes me feel like a million bucks. Compliments are not overflowing in everyday life, right? So you take what you can lopl

I love me some Gaston. But he's never there when I make it to the tavern. The pics of Mel and Gaston are great! ;)

I'm so addicted to Captain EO. I don't know how many times I've seen it. And I will see it again hehe
