Hey everyone... Hope you have a great weekend... I'm getting on a plane in 9 hours to fly to Florida with Melody. We are leaving the kids home and feeling guilty about it..

I'm running in the WDW 1/2 marathon on Saturday.. We will be back Monday night and I hope to have an update for you real soon.

how cool you got to walk onto TSM love the photos with Buzz & woody....heck I'd be afraid of Buzz too dad, he's a big dude! funny he was hitting on grandma....goofy always hits on my mom

have a great trip and good luck with the run....don't bring any disney souveniors home...oh wait you don't have to worry about that do you have fun! and the kids will be having fun with grandma too!

Just saw this TR so I've subbed on. I can't believe how much Juliana has grown! Crazy. She looks so much older with short hair.

I think I can guess the meaning behind your title....thanks to FB.

Glad that Christopher finally started to warm up to characters. DD wanted nothing to do with the characters her first trip, and since then.....nothing else matters other than the characters. Looks like you have a future Donald fan. Maybe you'll have to do a Donald bday party.

Love that Juliana still poses. Must be a girl thing.

We must have passed each other in the TSM area, as we hit RD and ra......walked quickly to get in line. I didn't think it was very crowded that morning.

We were able to grab FP's for 10-11.



Good luck on you race!! Don't feel guilty, a weekend away with the spouse us a good thing.

So glad that Christopher likes Mickey! I don't have kids, but I'm sure if I did I'd be a little bummed if they weren't feeling the characters.

Love all your Toy Story pictures, including Buzz and Woody! I know sometimes adults aren't sure if it'll be weird if they do character meet-and-greets but that shot of Buzz putting the moves on your mom shows that I think CMs like it just as much as the adults secretly do!

Can't wait to hear more!

Tim - lurker here who hasn't posted on one of your threads in awhile, but I do have to let you know that my DH and I were on the same flight as you on Friday and I recognized you and Melody from your pictures... I looked at my DH and I was like, "I know them! I read his stuff on the Disboards!" I would have said hello, but we were getting off and it was a bit crazy. Anyway, just wanted to let you know how excited I was to see a Disboards celebrity. Hope the 1/2 went well for you!

We are back... I'll be back later to respond to all your comments and possibly have an update. Juliana was home from school the last 2 days with a stomach bug and today she has a snow day. She is feeling better but not 100%. I'm glad her school canceled today, it gives her an extra day to get back to normal and it won't go against her. I hope you all had a great weekend.

Buzz was big but Christopher loved him after that meeting. He was saying Buzz all week after that!

I agree with you. There was a day coming up in the report where Melody & I ventured off on our own and met some characters and we had a blast.

WOW.. small world huh? Getting off the plane is always nuts. We actually got to board before everyone else. We were standing near the counter and an agent called us over and gave Melody a pass to get on before the A boarding. She was really nice. Hope you enjoyed your vacation!

Thanks Judy. Juliana went to school today although she didn't want to. She is scared she is going to get sick there.
