This is the dawning of the rest of our lives... AT DISNEY WORLD!!!! COMPLETED 1/6!!!!

Yes. I totally and completely 100% understand what you're saying. I quote Stacey completely out of nowhere, even when I'm talking about something else. It actually is a little bit scary but whatever.

Hahaha, amAHzing... I miss Happy Endings. :sad1: AHHH ELEPHANTS. I LOVE elephants!!! (Okay, sorry about all THAT randomness...)

Oh no!!!! So THIS is when your camera breaks. That sucks! I hope it wasn't too hard to get a new one. :wizard:

She's just so fabulous, we can't help it!

YAY, I was hoping someone would catch the Happy Endings reference. It's my favorite new show. I'm in love with it. It helps fill the huge void in my life left by Friends ending. I mean, obviously nothing could ever be as amazing as Friends but Happy Endings reminds me of it in a way.

Yeah. :( Sigh. Well, I wouldn't say it was HARD to get a new one... just annoying. You know, an inconvenience. But the Livin It Up continued as usual.

You definitely had pretty good animal luck on your safari!! I'm sorry to hear that your camera broke though! Hopefully it was easily replaced!

(I'm still waiting to hear about that anticipated cupcake...)

We did, but I hate when I don't see the lions! They're my fave. It's okay, we had much better luck with that later on in the trip.

Oh don't worry... you will hear about the cupcake, trust me! My mouth is watering just thinking of it. Sigh...

i absoultey quote stacey allllll the time she is my queen after all. Shes just flawless and perfect and i aspire to be her sometimes i go on youtube and watch the must dos but now that i dont have a trip planned it just makes me really sad and gives me chest pains then i cry alot its not a good time lol. Sorry you had to leave disney property its the worst the only time i did was when i went to wizarding world (HUGE HUGE HUGE HARRY POTTER FAN) and while it was really cool it was such a pain and universal is just awful glad i did it once but probably wouldnt do it again.Im trying to get my best friend and her family to go with me next year but they want to *gasp* stay off property i told her i did not know these words "off property" and they could do what they wanted but theres not a chance that i would join them lol.

Aww, I know how you feel! I seriously can't even watch the Must Dos on youtube anymore because it makes me so anxious and makes me cry. Like, I put it on and I'll just scream. It's a little nuts.

I am also a huge HP fan! I really want to go to WWoHP, but I just hate leaving property and am not the biggest Universal fan. I know I have to see it soon, though.

I hate when friends don't understand the off VS on property thing or other Disney details like that! True fans just don't get it!

Don't worry, you are not alone in your Stacey obsession. I worship her. :worship:

Awesome safari pics! I am very impressed. I always end up with these weird blurry action shots.

SWEET. Giraffe party. You know there's something cool going on over there if that's where all the giraffes are. They know what's up. ::yes::

OH NO. A broken camera at Disney is the worst. And having to leave property? Well that's just unfair. :( I'm sorry!

How could anyone not? She is too amazing. :faint:

I've never had that problem with blurry safari pics! So many people say that. I guess I've just got a steady hand!

YES it is, and it's the second time I've had a camera break at Disney. Actually, the camera that broke was the one my dad bought for me on our 2006 trip. It's becoming a horrible tradition, LOL.

Hi,

My name is Kimmy and I am your long lost twin. No seriously...our birthdays are only 5 days apart AND I refused to turn 22 this year so I invited everyone to the "1st Anniversary of My 21st Birthday" party. Where we played laser tag. Because I WILL NOT GROW UP.

I came over to your tr because of those fantastic frumps and I am SO GLAD I did. For the following reasons:

1. I love Friends. I am constantly watching the series in a loop. I make Friends references in so many conversations. I have friends who randomly post Friends quotes all of my fb because they know how much I love them.

2. I love meat. So much. I would never, as you said, fill up on leaves. EVER. Give me the meat. So good. Love 'Ohanas.

3. I REALLY FREAKING LOVE THE TOWER OF TERROR!!!! I am soooo obsessed with it. Here's the story of my love affair with the Hollywood Tower Hotel.
-One time, I rode ToT 11 times in one day. In fact, I didn't even keep running around but begged the CM's to let me re-ride through the chicken exit. It was heaven.
-I actually bought the Hollywood Tower Hotel bathrobe AND rode it while on the ride. While going through the line, I totally pretended to be a guest and was saying I was on my way to the pool or something. It was glorious. Of course I bought the ride photo too.
-I made bff's with a CM there. They even let me wear a hat for a picture.
-The super amazing CM mentioned loved my enthusiasm SO MUCH he gave me magical fast passes, good for any ride in DHS that worked for up to 5 people and didn't expire for 5 days. Awesome. I got to TSM it up since ToT was always a fabulous walk-on.
-The super amazing CM not only gave me fast passes (and multiple re-rides), but took me backstage to where all the security guys were watching everyone in the rides. I got to see what people do in the dark (HA!) and their faces while dropping, etc. So AMAZING.

Ahhhh...so I was going to wait to comment until I caught up on your tr but the ToT thing got me so excited I just couldn't wait any longer!! I already want a Dis Meet with you one day in the future!! (ha, is that weird?!) Dis Meets are the best...my last trip was a complete Dis Meet and it was magical!

Anywho, I'm sure I'll be commenting again because I still have catching up to do.

WOW that is so weird that you had the same "1st anniversary of my 21st" idea! :rotfl:

I AM SOOOOO JEALOUS THAT YOU GOT TO GO BACKSTAGE AT ToT! That is my DREAM! I always talk about how badly I want to explore that place without having to obey rules. LOL. And my other big dream is that they will put a little apartment/hotel room inside it like they did in the castle and I would get to stay there. Oh my God, I would pass out with excitement. And that is so hilarious that you wore the bathrobe on the ride. I am so doing that when I buy mine, I'm not joking. You've inspired me.

Aww, it's not weird! I'd love to have a Dismeet with you, it sounds like we would definitely get along! If we're ever there at the same time, that would be really fun!

Yes, great minds think alike! Yay for being 21...again!! ;)

I couldn't believe I got to go backstage there. It was seriously the best. I wasn't allowed to take pics :( but it was SUCH an amazing experience. That CM made my life! He works at Canada now though. OMG having a suite in the hotel has been my dream too!! Seriously though, I have been saying that FOREVER. That would be such a dream come true to stay there!! Why haven't they done that? I'm still waiting for a surprise announcement to come out that it's always been there, just super secret! You must, must, must get the bathrobe. The picture is so fun and classic. But it is so amazing to be able to wrap yourself up in ToT magic every single day! I love that bathrobe, best purchase EVER!!

Here is a pic with me on ToT with my bathrobe. I'm the goofy goober 2nd from the left.

Ahh meeting in DHS would be the best. Cupcakes and the Hollywood Tower Hotel and all those great buildings! Ahhh I love that place. You described it completey perfectly when you said it's a fav just like MK but it's just a different kind of magic. LOVE THEM.

P.S. This is my dream. (Scroll down for the good stuff) Let's save our money and rent out ToT so we can go look at ALL the details.

I am all caught up now! Sorry about the CP dissatisfaction. I know Disney aims to please everyone, but having people pay for priority seating then giving seats away to line goers to is just crossing a line. I can't believe how empty everything is. I need to go during the holiday season. I've only been during busy times and still love it. It'd be such a dream to have everything to be a walk on!

*sigh* I don't even know for sure the next time I'm going to Disney. It's breaking my little heart. I'm planning all sorts of fake trips in my head! Can't wait for more from you to help ease the pain of Disney Depression.

Ah, I'm two updates behind. Again. I am the worst.

The Tree of Life is so freakin' pretty. I'm obsessed. I feel like I've missed out on so many years of proper tree appreciation so I'm staring at pictures extra hard to make up for it.

I totally read "without all the malaria shots and stuff" in Stacey's voice. QUEEN. :worship:

NO CUPCAKES?? Don't they know that cupcakes are the most perfect Disney breakfast? Heck, cupcakes are the most perfect Disney anytime food so they should be available 24 hours a day. C'mon, WDW. Get it together.

Is it legal to keep a Meerkat as a pet? Because I really want one. Or five. Their little faces are just so cute! I don't think they're like vicious killing machines or anything so I could totally handle some, right?

GORILLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS. I'm really regretting my decision not to study primatology and become the next Jane Goodall or whatever. I just wanna cuddle up and take a nap with the one in the hay. She looks like she would make a great pillow. AND THE ONE IN THE TREE. OHMYGOSH I'M SO JEALOUS THAT YOU GOT TO SEE THAT. SOOOOOOOO JEALOUS. Seriously, will you fly down to WDW and come to the Animal Kingdom with me so I can absorb some of your animal luck? I need it.

You're definitely not the only one who constantly thinks of Stacey. I quote her on the regular, even to people who have no idea what I'm referencing. I think I said "YOU'RE GONNA GET WET!!!" three separate times today. God, I miss my flawless queen of must-doing.

I HATE HATE HATE passing through the section with the vultures. I'm always terrified one's gonna try to land on the vehicle. Let's all pray that never happens because they'd probably have to bring out one of those animal tranquilizer guns to subdue me.

How do those crocodiles even move around? There's so many of them! Do they climb over each other? Do the other crocs get mad when someone steps on their back? I have so many questions! Clearly I need to befriend a crocodile, learn to speak crocodilese, and ask.

GIRAFFES. ELEPHANTS. RHINOS. UGH WHY AM I NOT ON A TWO WEEK SAFARI RIGHT NOW? Life's just not fair. :sad2:

Awesome safari pictures! I have never been on a safari with THAT many animals! Go Lia!:worship: Hahaha I hope I get that many next time!

YOU UPDATED ON MY BIRTHDAY! Happy birthday to me :)

Stacey is perfect. So perfect. And no, you're not the only one!

The deer face is a way of life. Nbd. :thumbsup2

OH NO THE BROKEN CAMERA!!! Ugh that's NOT okay :faint:

I came back looking for an update and realized how crazy I sound! I automatically assume friendship with other ToT lovers! So sorry if I seem crazy. I can't help it, I AM crazy for the Hollywood Tower Hotel! :lmao:

Yaaaaay safari pictures! Boo dead camera! :worried:

I just assume that all of the deer-like species are Okapi because I can never remember their names. Clearly I'm not a zoologist.

The first time I rode Kilimanjaro Safaris, I thought that the crocs were fake. They never do anything, which I guess is good, since "doing something" for them equals "finding lunch."

Did you see the picture of the baby rhino that was born at AK?? OMG IT IS SO CUTE AND LITTLE! It doesn't even have a horn yet! :bitelip:

HAHAHA that is such a great picture! I love it! I am so getting the bathrobe next time. I've had my eye on it for years, it's really about time! And now of course I must wear it on the ride!

OH.........MY............GOD I DID NOT KNOW YOU COULD HAVE PRIVATE PARTIES AT ToT *hyperventilates* And I recognize that couple from their wedding TR! They had an awesome WS wedding in Morocco. What a fun couple... I have to marry someone who is up for that. and I HAVE TO HAVE A PARTY AT TOT OMG. Their pictures are just so amazing. That is seriously my dream. I wonder if you can have your wedding there. I don't see why not. I MUST DO IT!!!

Disney during low crowd times is SO much better! It's so much easier not having to worry about crowds and you get so much more done. I can't imagine not being able to jump on ToT at any time with only a 10 min wait. It allows so much more freedom. You should definitely think about planning a trip during a lower crowd time. :thumbsup2

I'm not sure when I'm going back either, it kills me! Hopefully we will both get to visit again soon.

Ah, I'm two updates behind. Again. I am the worst.

You're not the worst! Julie Plec is the worst. Always remember that!

YES I love the Tree of Life so much too. And I love seeing it from different angles all around AK. It's such an incredible spectacle.

OMG I want a meerkat too! So bad! Hula Timon 2.0 needs a brother or sister! It's not like I'm gonna get a warthog any time soon so he at least needs a meerkat friend.

YES I WILL FLY DOWN TO DISNEY WITH YOU PLEASE SEND ME A PLANE TICKET AND ALSO PAY FOR MY ENTIRE TRIP? Oh you're so sweet. I'll be expecting it in the mail next week. Yay! Seriously though, the gorilla in the tree is not even the best gorilla related experience from this trip. CRAZY SHIZ WENT DOWN WHEN I VISITED THE GORILLAS AGAIN. Just wait. It was straight out of a movie.

"Flawless Queen of Must-Doing" :rotfl: Perfection.

I wonder about the crocs as well. I bet there are polite ones that are all "Excuse me, pardon me, oh that was my fault! Sorry" and then there are those dbags that are just like plowing through everyone.

SOON YOU WILL BE THERE! Just a little while longer...

Awesome safari pictures! I have never been on a safari with THAT many animals! Go Lia!:worship: Hahaha I hope I get that many next time!

Thank you! That's honestly nothing, especially b/c we didn't get to see the lions! You should check out my past TR, we just have really good luck at AK for some reason. I'm sure that one day you'll have an action packed safari too!

YOU UPDATED ON MY BIRTHDAY! Happy birthday to me :)

Stacey is perfect. So perfect. And no, you're not the only one!

OH NO THE BROKEN CAMERA!!! Ugh that's NOT okay :faint:

Um... YOU'RE IN DISNEY RIGHT NOW AND I AM SO JEALOUS!!! Sigh.

"The deer face is a way of life" hahaha YES it is! You better come back with sooo many deer face pics!

I came back looking for an update and realized how crazy I sound! I automatically assume friendship with other ToT lovers! So sorry if I seem crazy. I can't help it, I AM crazy for the Hollywood Tower Hotel! :lmao:

Don't worry, I don't think you're crazy! I appreciate the interest in my TR! Any fan of ToT is a friend of mine so don't worry. Unfortunately it's rare I get to update more than once a week but there will be one soon!

Yaaaaay safari pictures! Boo dead camera! :worried:

"Clearly I'm not a zoologist." LOL. Same. Maybe they're in the Okapi family...? Who knows.

OMG no I have not seen the baby rhino but I will google it right now. AWWWWWWW!!! He's so precious! Here's the link if anyone reading wants to see: http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/bl...st-addition-to-disneys-animal-kingdom-family/ SO CUTE! I love baby animals. I always look at pics of them when I feel down and it never fails to make me smile. :goodvibes

That cupcake does sound like it is worth malaria. Then again, I feel that way about a lot of Disney foods. :hyper: (I like this smiley. I have friends just like it.)

Love your captions for the gorilla photos....I especially like the dude climbing the tree LIKE A BOSS

As do I, my friend, as do I!

Thank you! They all kind of have that LIKE A BOSS quality, don't they? They could be doing something totally not boss-like and still do it LIKE A BOSS.

Day 4, Part 4 In Which We Venture To Uncharted Territory

Even though my camera was broken and we were going to have to leave Disney to buy a new one (an expense I was *not* expecting on this trip... yeeeouch), the Livin It Up had to continue.

The one thing you need to know about my mom and I is that the Livin It Up will never cease for us. One of our favorite sayings is "If I don't laugh, I'll cry." Meaning: When things go wrong you just have to laugh about it because who cares. In the grand scheme of things, almost nothing is really that big a deal, so you really shouldn't waste your time being sad, upset, or frustrated.

Disappointing candlelight processionals and broken cameras are really no match for us. We laugh in the face of these things and just carry on Livin It Up!

I find one of the best ways to Live It Up is to eat cupcakes. I was really hoping that one of my BELOVED Safari cupcakes would finally be available! I had waited 18 months to sink my teeth into another one and I just could not wait any longer.

Back at Kusafiri Bakery, I was not denied!

As3qD0iCIAEBiB7.jpg

YUM! The cupcake was EVEN BETTER than it was in 2010! The pieces of chocolate were thicker, whereas before they were more like giant chocolate shavings. Now they're just big ol' honkin pieces of DELICIOUS chocolate stuck right there in your cupcake. Oh, it was heaven!

Just for comparison, this is what the Safari Cupcake I got in 2010 looked like:

6390492663_7aaa7c8177_b.jpg

Oh how I love when Disney makes things even MORE magical!

Btw, when I got this cupcake in 2010 it was called the Zebra Cupcake. Which made sense. But then on this trip it was called the Safari Cupcake. HOWEVER, yesterday, my friend Jess got the cupcake and it's called the Zebra Cupcake again! Make up your mind, Disney! And also: BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL MONORAIL VOICE GUY aka THE LOVE OF MY LIFE!

Sigh.

I ate about half of the cupcake, and put the rest away for later cause it was time to head back over to Dinoland for Finding Nemo: The Musical!

I don't have many notes or pictures, so forgive me as I breeze through the rest of our time at AK...

Nemo was incredible, as per usual. Sadly, my mom left her sunglasses in there, which she realized once we were pretty far away. So we ventured back to the theatre where they were prepping for the next show. A bunch of CMs helped us, but alas, the sunglasses were gone. Sheesh, we were not doing too well with personal items today!

Even with my broken camera and the sun in my mom's eyes, the Livin It Up couldnot be stopped. Again, the best way to Live It Up was eating, so we got a Turkey Leg!

Turkey Legs are one of those things that after I eat them I am just not thrilled with myself. They do not make you feel good. Actually, halfway through, most of the time I'm like "Am I seriously ripping meat off this giant bone? With my teeth? Smearing grease across my face? In public?"

There's just no way to do it without looking like a caveman.

But they're delicious! So every once in awhile, I Live It Up caveman style. Ooh, that rhymed!! I should make up a rap. AAAAAALLLL YOUUUUU sucka MCs ain't got nothin' on me.... you know what? Nevermind.

It was nearing time for Mickey's Jammin' Jingle Jungle Parade, which is the same as Mickey's Plain Old Jammin' Jungle Parade, just with some decorations and a more festive soundtrack. I really enjoyed the normal parade the last time we saw it (2006), so I definitely knew we had to catch the holiday version.

We grabbed some delicious cinnamon glazed pecans (YUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUM) from a snack cart in Harambe and sat down along the bridge.

The parade was a lot of fun, but like I said, not very different from the usual one, so you aren't missing much if you don't get to see it during the holidays. However, it was really cute. My favorite Holiday addition was Naughty and Nice lists with certain characters names on them. Adorable!

nwafojaj:tw1

Here is the one cell phone pic I took. Mickey waving at me! Aww.

Precious. It was so annoying not having my camera for this, usually I take a ton of pictures during parades. :sad2:

There was one last Festival of the Lion King for that day that we had to rush over to Camp Minnie Mickey for. We made it just in time! The rushing was worth it because as all of you know, that show is mind blowingly, overwhelmingly incredible! My mom and I ALWAYS cry. I actually prefer it to the Broadway version of the Lion King, even. It's just that good!

After FOTLK, the park was about to close and so we headed out and back to Pop.

Ok so if you don't care to hear about the whole LEAVING DISNEY PROPERTY ordeal of doom, just skip over this. I'm including it just in case people are curious about the whole fright enducing process, but I don't mind if you skip it! At the bottom of this update, there will be food pictures, so I understand if you would like to skip all the boring non-Disney details!

I went up to the concierge and asked (just in case) if they sold digital cameras anywhere on property. The CM said no. I think this is a missed opportunity. They should really sell big obnoxious Mickey head shaped cameras. I would buy one. Gimmicky cameras are awesome. I mean, I know I'm not the only one who had a Spice Girls polaroid camera. Oh, the 90's!

I asked the CM to please direct me to the nearest Target since my friend Kara (MarieTheCat24) was helping me out and said she found some cheap but decent cameras on their website (Thanks again, Kara!) The CM was very sweet and helpful, giving me a map and the address. She also told me the estimated cab fare and I was right, it was $20 each way.

From reading the DIS all these years I knew Mears was the cab company to call and had written down their number, so I called them and they said a cab would be there very soon. They texted about a minute after I hung up with them saying that they had contacted dispatch and a cab was on its way. The cab arrived insanely fast, it was honestly less than 5 minutes. Our cab driver asked which Target we wanted to go to and I gave him the specific address b/c I didn't want him to trick us and act like a further away Target was the nearest one (drivers in NYC try to drive you out of your way for more money sometimes). He was very polite and even turned down his music for us, but we told him we didn't mind the music and it was fine if he played it..

I posted on Twitter:
Cab driver had crazy music on and he turned it off and we were all like hey its cool, we're weird too.

When we left Disney Property, I felt sick. The Target is in that area of Orlando that is super touristy and filled with signs that have giant oranges and unauthorized paintings of Mickey on them and there are too many fast food restaurants and chain hotels and I just hate it. I mean, it's fine... it's normal for a tourist area. It's not like it's terrible, it's just not anywhere I want to be. Disney is so pristine that you really forget the real world is a couple of miles away. I was annoyed and just wanted to get the whole thing over with.

I posted on Twitter:
I absolutely hate leaving Disney Property. Loathe. Abhor.

We arrived at Target and my mom and I split up. I went straight to the camera section and she went to look for some new sunglasses.

It took me less than 5 minutes to choose one, a Canon Powershot A1200. I wasn't looking for a perfect new camera, obviously I didn't have time to research, I just wanted something good yet not too expensive to hold me over for the rest of our trip.

I paid for it at the electronics counter and then went to find my mom in the Women's Accessories area. She had found some cute sunglasses for only $10... gotta love Target!

We then went to the drink aisle to get a pack of water, a pack of Coca Cola, and some Vitamin Water, so that we didn't have to buy them at the parks. We were going to get snacks but then I realized that eating snacks from Target would fill us up and leave less room for Disney snacks, so we quickly squashed that idea. It's allll about the Disney food, folks. :mickeybar :mickeybar :mickeybar

I called Mears again to get a cab back to Pop and we went to check out. Once again they texted me right away after to tell me dispatch had contacted a driver who was on his way. It took about 5-10 minutes for the cab to arrive. It was another nice guy who immediately got out of the cab, opened the doors, and took our bags out of our cart and put them into the car.

As we arrived back on Disney Property I screamed "YAAAY!!" and clapped and did a little dance. I can't even tell you what a relief it was to be back.

I posted on Twitter:
Just got back to Disney World. Thank God. I can't stand being out of the bubble. Reality has no place in my life.

Overall our experience with Mears raised no complaints from me. I've heard mixed reviews in the past but both drivers arrived within minutes and were polite and helpful. I was annoyed to begin with that my camera had broken and we had to leave Disney, so it would have been easy to tick me off, but there were no problems.

When we arrived back at Pop I almost kissed the ground. DISNEY, I'LL NEVER LEAVE YOU AGAIN! :mickeyjum:simba::hmghost:

We briefly went back to the room to drop off our stuff. I got my new camera out and tested a bit before we headed back out to the busses. We were hungry for one of our FAVORITE Disney restaurants:

puck-1.jpg

WOLFGANG PUCK EXPRESS!!!!!!

Ever since I ate here on a whim during my 2008 solo trip, it has been a must do. You know, one of those must dos that we really WANT to do! B/c, a la Stacey, not all must dos are things you really WANT to do. Or something.

The point is: We always want to eat at Wolfgang Puck Express. I introduced it to my mom during my 20th birthday trip in 2010 and she also fell head over heels in love. She brings it up to me often and we always talk about how much we wish we could eat there all the time.

This restaurant is categorized by Disney as counter service, but it is table service quality. Actually, it's better than some of the table service restaurants. If you haven't tried it, OH MY GOD, GO!

We ordered our usual: Four Cheese Pesto Pizza with a side of Macaroni & Cheese and split both.

They have changed this dish a bit and increased the size. This a side, but it is enough for one person's whole meal.

My mom was in heaven at this point! I think this was one of her favorite moments of the trip. It was such a relief to be back at Disney after the little bump in the road we had, eating one of our favorite meals. We took some of the pizza back to Pop like always, we can never finish it because it's so huge. Honestly... if you have never tried this place... your next trip is the time!

After this, we started acting really silly. We were so tired and stuffed. My mom was being especially hilarious. She kept telling me to take her picture in front of various stores. She would get all giddy and giggly and pose like an overexcited child about to meet Mickey. I wish I could show you the pics, but she would kill me. It was too funny. I was cracking up. I love that I have a mom who can get silly like this and pose for stupid pictures and crack up laughing at nothing and basically just act like a moron with me.

My mom decided she wanted Ghiradelli for dessert. I was too stuffed but she got a chocolate cone, her favorite. She said it was delicious, as usual. I definitely have to try something here next time. I was never crazy about it, but lately getting a bar of Ghiradelli chocolate has become a thing for me. It's my new vice. Like any time I'm really tired and still have a long day ahead of me I go get one and OH GOD IT JUST MAKES ME FEEL SO MUCH BETTER! :yay:

After wandering around for awhile, we headed back to Pop Century and actually got to bed at a reasonable time. I didn't even watch that many loops of Stacey before I went to sleep, I think it was only about 14 times, so you can tell I was tired! ;)

Up next: Minnie Mouse freaks out!

I love your Livin' It Up life philosophy, it's so simple, and yet, so easy to forget to do sometimes!

OMG that cupcake looks so good! I'm glad it's a Zebra cupcake again, hello, it's striped like a zebra, why would they change it to a Safari cupcake? I love Disney, but sometimes they like to mess with perfection...don't change ANYTHING Disney, you're perfect, just the way you are! I wish we had a chance to go to Animal Kingdom when I was just there (LAST WEEK! Can you believe I was just in Disney last week? Ughh, where does the time go??? I still have not adjusted back to real life. Sure I'm going through the motions, but in my mind, I'm still in Disney. :sad1:)

I'm so glad you like turkey legs too! I have to eat one in DHS on every trip. I don't know why DHS, but I just have to. You're right though...they don't make you feel very good about yourself!

I hate leaving Disney property too! And we always seem to, at least once, on each trip, it's so annoying! I even told my DH on this past trip that he needed to hurry up because I couldn't stand being outside of the Disney bubble and he looked at me like I'm crazy...only DISers understand I guess! :yay: Glad you got a camera and your mom found sunglasses!

I cannot believe I haven't been to WPE yet. :sad2: If I don't go on my next trip, I should ban myself from Disney for a year or something, there's just no excuse!

Your mom sounds like so much fun, I love that you guys can take trips together and have a great time! I hope I have a little girl someday so I can take her to Disney for every single important event in her life and act crazy with! :woohoo:

I'm glad that your departure from the Disney bubble wasn't too long!! That's purposely why I don't want to rent a car while at Disney, I don't want to be bothered with such real-world concepts as driving!!

WPE looks great! It really is a fantastic CS restaurant!!

Haha love the little rap... you are too funny....:rotfl:
Spice Girls camera....:sad2::lmao: hahaha!
I HATE HATE HATE going off Disney property! It is just SO UNmagical! :sad2:
I seriously need to try Wolfgang Puck! I never get the chance but the next trip I WILL!!

Your safari cupcake just looks delicious! I've had my eye on one of those babies for like a year now hahaha.

I feel like there is just no graceful way to eat something with the word 'leg' in the title. :lmao:

I just did an evil sounding laugh (it just came out... I couldn't stop it) after reading your Mean Girls reference haha. "OHH KEVIN G!!!" :cool2:

It really sucks that you had to leave Disney property. I'm sorry. :(

A wedding at ToT would be awesome. I have dreams of my bridal party all decked out in our wedding garb having a whole elevator to ourself!! :cloud9: I became fb friends with the awesome bellhop from my last trip and he has SO MANY pics of him and the fellow CMs with pictures of almost all of them or just 2 of them riding it. Can you imagine riding it all you want if we worked there? Although...I don't know if I would be a good CM there. I'm too happy, I'm not good at NOT smiling and giving off the eerie vibes they give! :rotfl:

Yum, yum, yum...that cupcake looks SO GOOD! I can't believe I have never tried one of the ones from AK. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?! I need to go there AND Wolfgang Puck Express. Guess I'll need to book another Disney trip. Oh darn. :rotfl:

I veered off-property my first trip...tourist-y tacky is no bueno. Disney does it right!! Glad the slight deviation was lickety-split.

Sorry to hear about your camera. That must have been scary leaving Disney property. We only do that when it's time to leave and that's scary and sad. At least you knew you were only making a quick leave.

Yum the cupcake looks good! I've never seen them there before. And, yes the new monorail guy is no good. I was there in the beginning of May and it's definitely not the same. Why do they randomly change these things? The people movers and now this? I don't get it!

Looking forward to the next update! I always enjoy your reports. :) What a great Livin it Up attitude that you have! Go you! :cool1:

Thank you! Yes, it is hard to employ the Livin It Up philosophy at times, but you just have to keep reminding yourself!

Well, they sell it right by the safari, so I could understand why they would call it that, but it obviously looks more like a zebra! haha. SO JEALOUS YOU WERE THERE LAST WEEK!!!!!!!!! Sigh. I miss it so much!

We used to stay off property and now that I'm so engrossed in the Disney bubble I hate leaving! Even like seeing normal street signs just annoys me.

DEFINITELY go to WPE next time. If you hate it, I will personally refund you. LOL. But seriously, it's that good.

Aww. Yeah, one day when I am ready for kids (which will be many years) I am going to take them to Disney all the time. I seriously think about that constantly. I can not wait to experience the magic through their eyes. :goodvibes

I'm glad that your departure from the Disney bubble wasn't too long!! That's purposely why I don't want to rent a car while at Disney, I don't want to be bothered with such real-world concepts as driving!!

It was less than an hour! :lmao: Out and back in as quickly as possible!

Yep, it's definitely my favorite CS and one of my faves overall.

Why thank you!

Hey, don't knock the Spice Girls camera. I got some good shots of my friends and I wearing frosted lipstick and belly shirts that had Chinese characters on them. We looked awesome!

YES!!! Go to Wolfgang Puck's ASAP! You will not regret it.

Your safari cupcake just looks delicious! I've had my eye on one of those babies for like a year now hahaha.

It's sooo yummy! Honestly it rivals the red velvet one at Starring Roles. SO GOOD!

hahaha you are right about that leg thing!

LOL I'm glad you got that. "I don't play it like Shaggy, he'll know it was me!" oh man that is one of the BEST scenes in cinema history.

Yes, a ToT wedding is my absolute dream. I always wondered where exactly in Disney I would want to get married and I think I have now decided it has to be ToT! That's so funny that you're FB friends with that bell hop, I love it. I want to work there SO bad!

haha YES you absolutely should!! And if you do... bring me with you!!!!!!!!

Yeah, it was lame having to leave but it was an awesome feeling when we drove back through the pearly gates! :cloud9:

It's delicious! And I just can't believe they changed my beloved Monorail Voice Guy. I mean, what next, are they going to replace Cinderella Castle?!?

Thank you so much!

I agree that Living It Up is the best way to go for sure. I try to have the same philosophy, because everything else just isn't worth it, you know?

Cupcake....on my list.....along with every other cupcake on WDW's menus.

WPE is the food of life....along with cupcakes.
