A little history...I've had our cruise on the Magic planned for 7 months now. Waiting and waiting, I've spent endless hours on the disboards :surfweb:

Well I work in a tax office and the more stressed I got/get, the more vacation days I added to my plans. :confused3 Geez boss I dunno how that happened. Officially my vacation now starts May 1st and ends May 13th.

So...I've never stayed on Disney property and since we were going to be in town a day early why not try out one of them. I started with a ressie at CSR, but deemed that since we would only be sleeping there then leaving for the beach the next day I just couldn't justify it. So I downgraded to ASMo.

Then one day I got really stressed and added another day to my vacation and another day to ASMo. Actually I squeezed this one in as a birthday present from my dh, dd and ds. It was my gift that I get to go to the park of my choice while in Florida.

Now with 2 days at ASMo, I at least wanted a preferred room. So I have tried relentlessly to get one with no avail. I have the phone ques memorized, the who verify your name, address, email, date you last...just kidding.

Anywho, today we figured out how to add a 3rd day in there. So I called to make sure we could get a room and you'll never guess what I got. I told the girl my whole sob story and she started singing. :rotfl2: Happy Easter to you to the tune of happy birthday. I started doing my happy dance  and didn't stop for like 20 minutes.

I have also booked the fishing at the Contemporary Marina as my family loves to fish. I can't wait to be out then on Bay Lake with a pole in the water. Then I can eat my Mickey Mouse Ice cream bar on Main Street and then my cruise on the Magic. I can't wait!!!

Thanks for listening and letting me share.

That's great!

Doesn't that make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside????? I am so happy for you, have a wonderful trip, it will be the stress reliever that you needed.

All Star Movies I had originally booked CSR, but changed it to a value resort when I realized all we were going to do was sleep there. But now we're staying 3 nights. Oh well...next time we'll go moderate since it won't be paired with the cruise.
