This is so terrible- hostages in Iraq. Update more taken, including Americans.

I also read and didn't respond because sometimes these kinds of posts get nasty very fast...I was waiting to see what people would say. I also am saddened by this news, how horrible for the families who probably know as much about the situation as we do.

I'm just now finding this. My heart is broken for those hostages. I pray that they are released unharmed.

I always say a prayer for our military personnel. Bless them all.

I can not tell you the stressful week I've had not knowing where my dh is in Iraq with all that has been going on.

Thank you to all of you who still support the troops that are over there.

The very hardest thing is the not knowing. Last week there was a report of 1 dead and several wounded in my DS's area and I spend several days of fear until we finally got an email. I also looked and didn't post, sometimes its just too hard to talk about

I couldn't get the link to work, but I'm very worried.. My best friend's son-in-law is back over there (already did one tour) but he was supposed to be somewhere "safer" now.. At least that's what they were told before all of the recent madness of the past week or so..

I can't reach them - they're away right now.. Where are these things taking place? He's a Marine..

I'm disturbed because I've been watching Dateline since I got home from work and I haven't heard a WORD of this until I come on the DIS!

A former football star is on trial for killing his wife, and it's on TV 24/7. Americans are dying left and right and you can't even find coverage on public TV!

Very, very sad situation indeed. Horrible ~ their mentality is: killing in the name of God to resolve things. My prayers to all invloved, especially our brave troops, their families and the innocent. May God be with them in their endeavor. God Bless the USA, land of the free and home of the brave.
