Coming home from Paris later today, enjoying my last day in the sunshine over here ... can't believe it's been a month ... with work and projects it has just flown by ...

I am the only poster on here right now, it's 11:25 AM Central European Time, thus 5:25 AM Eastern Time ... last post before me was a touch before 5 AM Eastern ... so I am claiming this board as my own! Fun fun ...

If you all are planning a visit to Paris, let me totally recommend the Fat Tire Segway Tour, which I took last night. We zoomed around the sights of Paris on Segways, going about 10 MPH, it was SO much fun and a fantastic way to see the city. I hear they have it in Nice as well.

Looks like my next business trips might be to either Memphis or Beirut, Lebanon! (Mom will not be pleased with the latter)

Actually, DanaCara, I think that the crime rate might actually be lower in Beirut than in Memphis... and I think that Lebanon is much more scenic...

Dana, please share. Did you go to Disneyland Paris while you were there? My SIL just got back from Paris 2 weeks ago. When she told me she was going, I asked her if she was going to Disneyland Paris. She informed me she wasn't me, that there were other things than Disney in Paris.

I did NOT make it to Disneyland Paris, which I am EXTREMELY bummed about! There are a lot of shuttle buses that go directly there from the airport. I just couldn't talk my co-workers into going there with me, and I didn't speak enough French to warrant attempting it by myself. Next time, though, DEFINITELY.

As nice as scenic Lebanon sounds, I do think that visiting Graceland sounds like a lot of fun! Apparently I will be staying at someplace called the Peabody and they have a parade of ducks? This, I must see. I wonder if Graceland is easily accessible from the Peabody. I do admit to having a little thing for Elvis.
