Will keep my fingers crossed that you don't have to cancel your trip. I, however, did cancel mine as I was supposed to fly out this Saturday. There's just too much uncertainty right now. I've rescheduled for the end of January.

I’m debating canceling my Thanksgiving trip, the whole flight cancellations and flight reductions has me worried! I have not been contacted at this time that my flight has changed or been cancelled but who knows!

I really want to see Disney all decked out for Christmas
I will need to decide soon. I’m to travel 2 weeks from today.
I may change my reservation to December but not sure ugh

All I can say is there are some really selfish, narcissistic people in our government! He who shall not be named!
I will let you know what I decide once I make my decision.
My whole family is coming home this weekend! I am really excited. Our home will have four dogs along with my kids and their significant others plus my sister Donna! It will be our Thanksgiving weekend!

I am so sorry this is happening to you. I agree, so many innocent people are suffering over this shutdown. I do believe the Senate passed a bill earlier today and it's moving to the House for a vote as early as tomorrow. Hopefully you have some more solid information before your cancellation window closes. Maybe check for some nice AP rates in Dec as a fallback?

I just caught up to your TR and loved it! Especially the sip savor at contemporary, now I am looking it up and adding an alert for my Thanksgiving trip! I just did an Epic one-day trip so it was fun reading about your experience! We are keeping our Thanksgiving on the books (we leave on Thanksgiving) and hoping things will be straightened out by then. But definitely stressful! I just can't miss the holiday season at WDW, I love it so much!

Hi Hanna, Nice to see you on the boards again! The The sips and sparkle is amazing and I truly believe it is worth the cost! I hope you can get a reservation! We loved it. Ugh It really stinks! I’m still hoping to go if not I will pivot and see if I can make it work in December! Our government such a mess is all I can say!

I'll be at Pop Century. Now that I'm retired I have to go cheap so I can go more often. I do love Pop though!

I hear you. Alex and I have been waiting for a notification to pop up on our phones from the airline app telling us about our cancelled flights. Hopefully as of today things should be clearer. Originally, Alex wanted to book a one night stay at Hard Rock so we'd have express pass for Thanksgiving Day, but between the cancelled flights and the uncertainty over not getting paid, we had to postpone. And to add to that, our list for potential next bases got delayed, so it's definitely not the leadup you hope for before a vacation!

We really like Pop. Are you okay with the Skyliner being down at the end of January. We will miss the easy access to Riviera but otherwise no problem

I’m glad the government is open now. I’m sorry for our military having to work with out a paycheck. It is crazy. I’m too much of a lady to say what I really think. I will be at Universal on 11/26 to see all the holiday decorations and get my AP magnet! I hope you have a wonderful trip and no cancellations. I not only have to worry about weather, I have to worry about the reduced flights. So far my flight is still on schedule! I will send you positive thoughts and you do the same for me!

Well I had forgotten about that! Yikes! Might have to switch to All Stars, I don't mind staying there and it's usually cheaper.

ETA: Nothing available at any of the All Stars. I truly don't mind the buses though. Maybe Pop will be less crowded. Off now to change my Touring Plans request to a room closer to Classic Hall.
