This is killing me!

It's been 2 weeks since we returned our finally paperwork with payment to Timeshare store. I called and was told that I should check with disney memberservices.

I got an e-mail yesterday from the closing company (I had e-mailed them but the one I e-mailed was on vacation). They said the sellers hadn't returned their portion of the paperwork yet (seems they were away ) . So it will probably be sometime next week before the paperwork goes to Disney.

Yes, it's so hard to wait. The good news is that it will be worth it! Hope your "misery" ends soon.

Sorry for your pain! It's always hard when something is so important for one of the parties and not for the other. Too bad they were not strapped for cash, and so did the paperwork before the trip.

I would rather slam my hand in a truck door then have to wait like that... man oh man!!!

I got very very lucky, when I was doing the wait period thing that didn't last long at all by the way, I was in the middle of a home remodel and I was busy for several weeks, well.. in the middle of all that mess I became a DVC member..... Thank You Jaki!!

The exact same thing happened to us..but one day after our "inquiry" suddenly the papers were signed and returned to the agent!!! Hang in there.....it is more than worth it! They will fax the signed docs to member services just as soon as they are signed and you will be in the system in (2) business days!

We're at OKW. I plan to check the middle of next week and if they've sent the papers to Disney I'll call MS. We have a March use year and we probably won't go this year (we're going to Canada and could use the points next year for DL when we do the cruise). I need to bank the points by the end of August. I know I'll have plenty of time but I like to get things taken care of .
