Is is worth the money?? Do you have a good selection of food to pick from(can you choose any entree on the menu or do they limit you to certain options)?? Is the places offered with the plan any good?? What kind of desserts are you offered??

Thanks for you help!!

I personally thought it was worth the amount of money. I tend to eat small snacks during the day rather than large meals so it was easy just to walk into a dining place and get a small snack and a pop. I did the math and I ended up saving like 5 or 6 dollars compared to what I would have spent if I had bought everything separately.

we did the meal deal when we were there in october and i thought it was worth the money --- especially when you are in the parks since opening -- my daughter loves to eat so it was helpful that when she started with the "im hungry" i didnt have to see if it fit into the budget to be constantly eating. se is a very picky eater and for selection she had no problem finding something she liked --- also i think the drink deal is well worth the money

You can buy a one park meal deal or a two park meal deal. On the days
when the park closes early (around 6:00 PM,) the two park meal also

The web sites don't spell this out so I am looking for the
insight of people who have used the plan:

If you picked one park for the meal plan, which one
would you pick?
Can you order a side-order (fries,onion rings,soup,ect)
as your entree or do these have to be ordered
separately?
I noticed some of the places have sorbet, ice cream dots,
milkshakes, floats and slushes on the dessert menu. Can
anything on the dessert menu be chosen or do they
limit the selections?
Can every entree on the menu be ordered or do they limit
the selection?

I'd pick Universal because I like Louies.

They'd have to be ordered separetely.

Those aren't the desserts on the meal deal. Most of the desserts for the meal deal are a cookie.

No just the entrees specific to the meal deal--see the menu I posted in this thread.

is universal studios side because the monster cafe has the best brick oven pizzas that you can get on the meal deal and the broasted chicken isn't too bad either. This is not on the previous list but I have always been able to get the meal deal here

by the way not all pizza or chicken is created equal. you will find differences in their preparation in the different places

If you want fruit as a desert I suggest the International Food.... because they have a fruit plate that can be order in place of a regular meal plate. melon, pineapple, watermelon, cantalope

If you want a hamburger you should try burger diggs on Islands of Adventure side because they have a fixin bar. tomatoes, lettuce, onion, pickles and the like.

i have done the meal deal before and would do it again.

i would pick the studios side as i love the pizza at louies.

yes, i could eat pizza all day long.

i also  the IFFF place.
the chicken dinner is great.
the chinese dinner is great.

i started eating when louie's opened and ate throughout the day with a stop at IFFF........

screw the diet day when i did the meal deal.

you don't have to take the entire meal deal.
i just got the pizza slices when i went a second time at the same seating.

i had my refillable mug to use for my beverage needs that day.

Monster Cafe and Richters are added during peak seasons.

I just did both parks for the meal deal as we were doing both parks the same day

I got a pasta meal and was able to order a side of fries with it no problem

I went on may 23rd this year and the desserts on offer were a lemon bunt cake (thats what it looked like anyway it was yummy) A chocolate mousse cake and jelly and cream

Can every entree on the menu be ordered or do they limit
the selection?

I didn't see any limit on the entree as far as I could tell you could order anything off the menu

The 2 places we went to where International Food and Film Festival and Comic Strip Cafe they both had a great selection on food I cant comment on the others as I didn't use them But we left happy :cool1: :cool1:

it closes early for us but i didn't buy the citywalk dinner? can we then go to citywalk and try 1 there?I didn't see that anywhere... i have the 2 pk deal

quick question about the drinks....if you get the refillable cup...is it a cup you have to carry around all day...or do you just show a card and get a new cup each time?

Thank you....

You guys are awesome! I think I've asked a thousand questions in the past 2 weeks...and ya'll aren't tired of me..........yet.

Please remember how helpful everyone has been to you, and come back after your trip to pay it forward. Not many do that. They just have a flutter of questions, go on their trip, and never return to help other newbies. Then, people like macraven are stuck answering the same questions over again. So don't forget to pay it forward!
